Roy is a "Border Inspector" ever on the alert for smuggling silver between Mexico and the United States. Dans cette entrée de Roy Rogers, mettant en vedette une chanson écrite par le gouverneur de l'Oklahoma Roy J. Le ranch est laissé au pupille de Talbot, duc Lowery, âgé de 12 ans, au grand désarroi de la nièce de Talbot, Jan Holloway. Après quelques tentatives sur la vie de Duke, Roy prouve finalement que Jan, Steve McClory et le coroner Jim Judnick ont fait tuer Talbot et conspirent pour faire de même pour Duke, faisant de Jan le dernier héritier.
