Synopsis
Lors d'une soirée où une fête est organisée, Grace et sa meilleure amie Jennifer prennent la route. Malheureusement un accident se produit et Jennifer est tuée sur le coup. Grace, ayant trop bu ce soir-là, ne se souvient absolument de rien, et doit purger une peine de deux ans de prison. Lors de son dernier jour de liberté, le fantôme de sa meilleure amie Jennifer revient la voir et vient l'aider à retrouver la mémoire. Durant toute la journée, Jennifer va accompagner sa meilleure amie dans sa quête pour connaître la vérité... Malheureusement la vérité n'est pas celle que Grace espérait. En se rendant sur les lieux de l'accident, elle se souvient de ce qui s'est passé cette nuit-là et découvre que c'est bien elle qui conduisait la voiture, qu'elle était ivre et se disputait avec Jennifer, que dans un moment d'inattention l'accident se produisit... Grace est choquée. Mais sa meilleure amie la console et lui demande de vivre la vie qu'elle aurait voulu mener et qu'elle s'amuse ! Jennifer disparaît pour toujours et Grace, assumant ses actes, purgera sa peine de deux ans de prison.Actors

The film opens as school pariah, Dina Van Cleve (Jenn Proske) walks down the hallway of her school. When she opens her locker, a pile of condoms that were put inside as a prank comes falling out. Later, Dina is shown alone in her room recording a video diary. When her mother, Rachel (Liz Vassey) returns home, she finds Dina's body hanging in her room. The film then flashes back six weeks, showing Dina as a popular and talented field hockey player who was voted Homecoming Queen at her school. However, the night ends on a bad note when she changes her mind about giving up her virginity to her boyfriend, Mark (Ryan Kelley) who leaves angry. Dina returns home while Mark goes to an after-party and cheats on Dina with her rival, Skylar Reid (Kelli Goss). Dina takes a few pictures of herself naked and sends them to Mark the next morning. But when she arrives at school, she is surprised by applause from the student body and soon realizes that her picture has been seen around campus. Distraught by a wall of cruel comments written about her in the girls bathroom already, Dina demands that Mark tell her who he sent the picture to, but he insists that he didn't send it to anyone.
