Warriors of Future (明日戰記, Ming ri zhan ji, litt. « La Bataille de demain »), anciennement connu sous le nom de Virtus (矛盾戰爭, litt. « Guerre contradictoire »), est un film de science-fiction sino-hongkongais réalisé par Ng Yuen-fai et prévu pour 2020.
Tourné en cantonais (la langue de Hong Kong) et doté d'un budget de 56 millions $, le film est en cours de développement depuis trois ans et la production débute le 12 février 2017.
Synopsis
En 2055 une météorite, qui porte une semence extraterrestre étrangère à croissance rapide appelée « Pandora », s'écrase sur une Terre stérile ravagée par la pollution et le réchauffement climatique. « Pandora » purifie la planète mais tue tout sur son passage. Pour protéger les citoyens de Hong Kong, des unités blindées lourdes de la ville, équipées de la carte génétique de la plante, tentent de détruire « Pandora » sans succès et découvrent un complot.Actors

In 1992, journalist Kenichiro Terasawa (Kosuke Toyohara) is writing a book about Godzilla and learns about a group of Japanese soldiers stationed on Lagos Island in the South Pacific during World War II. They were unintentionally saved from a group of American soldiers by a mysterious dinosaur known as "Godzillasaurus" in February 1944. In 1954, the island was destroyed by a hydrogen bomb test and the radiation from the bomb mutated the dinosaur into Godzilla.

The films starts with Astrophysicist Ryoichi Shiraishi, his fiancee Hiroko, his sister Etsuko, and his friend Joji Atsumi witnessing a festival at a local village near Mount Fuji. Shiraishi then tells Atsumi that he has broken off his engagement with Hiroko but gives no reason other than an undisclosed obligation to remain in the village. Continuing after the end of the previous film, Interpol agents, led by Inspector Kusaka, search for the wreck of Mechagodzilla at the bottom of the Okinawan Sea. Using the submarine, Akatsuki, they hope to gather information on the robot's builders, the alien simians.
