Wrinkles (Spanish: Arrugas) is a 2011 Spanish animated drama film directed by Ignacio Ferreras, based on the comic book with the same title by Paco Roca. The story is set in a retirement home and revolves around the friendship between two elderly men, one of them in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease.
Wrinkles was released to UK DVD and Blu-ray on April 28, 2014, following a limited theatrical release on April 18. Synopsis
Un vieil homme, Emilio, est placé par sa famille dans une maison de retraite alors qu'il commence à avoir quelques problèmes de mémoire. Il fait la connaissance de ses nouveaux compagnons, aux passés et aux personnalités divers et intéressants, tous plus ou moins affectés par l'âge, et notamment de Miguel, qui devient son ami. Tous font leur possible pour égayer le quotidien de la maison de retraite. Mais peu à peu, Emilio se découvre atteint par la maladie d'Alzheimer. Il risque d'être relogé à l'étage des causes perdues, où sont relégués les pensionnaires les plus malades... mais ses amis et voisins joignent leurs efforts pour lui éviter ce triste sort.Actors

In a prologue set in 1976, American epidemiologist Don Francis arrives in a village on the banks of the Ebola River in Zaire and discovers many of the residents and the doctor working with them have died from a mysterious illness later identified as Ebola hemorrhagic fever. It is his first exposure to such an epidemic, and the images of the dead he helps cremate will haunt him when he later becomes involved with HIV/AIDS research at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The story focuses on Madame Souza, an elderly woman raising her young grandson, Champion.
