When mob boss Bellavance (Ray Wise) discovers that $500,000 of his money is missing, he sends four heavily armed hitmen to send a "loud and messy" message to the suspected thieves' families. But when the killers invade one of the homes, they'll meet the household's emotionally disturbed young son Owen (Ryan Hartwig). Owen has a history of violent behavior, knows how to make lethal booby-traps, and is their equal in his level of aggression.
Russ Kane (Warner Baxter) gets a job as a pilot in order to steal cargo. However, after making a forced landing at a "Ghost City" in the desert, he falls in love with Alice Rendon (Billie Dove) and decides to become law-abiding. When her father (George Irving) needs medicine, he flies to get it, but on the way back is chased by ruffians in other airplanes. As a result, Kane's friend, Sandy (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.), parachutes from Kane's plane with the medicine. Meanwhile, escaped prisoners have invaded Alice's home. All is resolved when a sheriff's posse confronts the invaders, Kane destroys the bandit planes, and Sandy becomes a pilot.
A fleet of airships begin an attack on England, bombing an armoured vehicle, a signal box and a town. An inventor and his assistant are preparing to launch a missile in defence. A biplane attempts to shoot down one of the airships, but is destroyed itself. One of the airship's bombs lands on the home of the inventor's lover, whose hand in marriage he had unsuccessfully asked her father for earlier in the day. The inventor rushes to the house and rescues his lover, although her father is dead. Returning to the missile launch site, the inventor successfully destroys the airship. The film ends as the couple embrace.
A young Peter Parker discovers his father Richard Parker's study has been burgled. Gathering up hidden documents, Peter's parents take him to the home of his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, then mysteriously depart.
OsCorp scientist Richard Parker records a video message to explain his disappearance. Later, he and his wife, Mary, are aboard a private jet hijacked by a man sent to assassinate Richard. The plane crashes, killing both Richard and Mary, after he uploads the video.
The film is set in a fictitious past, in which space travel is pioneered by roughnecks. The logic of space travel is not addressed, and most technology was designed for the film to appear as if "it could be repaired with a hammer". Samuel Curtis, an interplanetary trader, is approached by an acquaintance of his, the Blueberry Pirate, with a mission. He is to provide the women of Venus with a new king for mating. In exchange for this new stud, they will relinquish their currently deceased king, whose family is offering an immense reward for his body. Curtis sets off in search of the perfect replacement, the Boy Who Actually Saw a Woman's Breast, and soon discovers that his old nemesis Professor Hess is hot on his trail.
The film is set in a futuristic setting involving a battle over control of the mind and of cutting-edge biotechnology. Ex-soldier Ryan Reeve (Noel Clarke) wakes up in the back of a van next to a young boy who is being held prisoner. He frees the boy and must work out what is happening in bursts of exactly nine minutes and forty-seven seconds, as the control and conscious awareness of his body is repeatedly being hijacked by another person. He teams up with the mysterious "Dana" (Alexis Knapp) as he battles a conspiracy known as "Anomaly" led by Harkin Langham (Ian Somerhalder).

The film takes place in the United States in what is presumably the present day. A large, colossal meteorite the size of Texas is heading towards the Earth, and threatens to wipe out the human race in a manner similar to the extinction of the dinosaurs.
The opening of this film begins at a dinner party for Giovanni and his wife Elvira who are celebrating a wedding anniversary. However, not everyone is happy for them as Elvira’s father (possibly a senator) enters and angrily confronts Giovanni over his arrogance, adultery, and recklessness. Giovanni’s ego is unruffled by this and calmly tells his father-in-law to die as soon as possible. Elvira suggests Giovanni leave and get some champagne from the cellar. Giovanni takes the opportunity not only to get the champagne but also to have a sexual encounter with his wife’s sister. The father-in-law witnesses this act and attempts to kill him with an axe. However, Giovanni triumphs and slays his father-in-law instead. Surviving this, Giovanni furiously shouts towards the night sky that he is his own king, master, faith and god.
The film is set during the Tang Dynasty-period in Chinese history, in 9th century China. The film centers on Nie Yinniang (played by Shu Qi) a female killer appointed to slay corrupt government officials by her master, Jiaxin, a nun who raised her from the age of ten. When Yinniang displays mercy by failing to kill during her duties, Jiaxing punishes her with a ruthless assignment designed to test Yinniang’s resolve. She is sent to the distant province/circuit of Weibo in northern China, which is led by the military governor Tian Ji'an, her cousin and former lover.
