Northern Leg (John Liu) travels across China to find the man responsible for the death of his parents. The culprit is none other than the Silver Fox (Hwang Jang Lee), a feared martial arts expert and bandit. Silver Fox has also caught the attention of Southern Fist (Wong Tao), a government agent. While Southern Fist and Northern Leg are both after the same man, they discover that alone they are no match for Silver Fox. The two heroes must combine their skills, knowing that it is the only way to gain success against their awesome adversary.
Street performer Cho brings his pet around to perform hoping to raise money to study martial arts. Retired martial arts master Chiu Chat-yeh has a mentally disabled daughter who is unattended and has Cho take care of her. Cho finds a girl from out of town named Piu-hung to take his spot as Chiu's daughter's caretaker and goes to study martial arts with the village's martial arts teacher, Kwan Yee-sai. Cho also befriends Kwan's son, Yan. One day, a group of bandits come and terrorize the village and Chiu and Kwan team up to resist them. Chiu has stolen jewelry in his house which is unexpectedly stolen by Piu-hung. Chiu and Kwan are killed later as well. Cho and Yan flee to many places and seek a teacher to mentor them in martial arts. With continuous twists and turns along the way, they finally find the real culprit behind the scenes.
American martial artist Casey Bowman (Adkins) has settled down at the Kōga ninja dojo and married Namiko Takeda (Hijii), who is pregnant with their first child. One day, while shopping for a pendant in town, he encounters and fends off against two knife-wielding muggers. Later that night, Casey goes grocery shopping, but when he remembers that the muggers took his wallet, he rushes home only to find Namiko slain, with markings of a barbed wire weapon around her neck. On the day of the funeral, the dojo is visited by a former student named Nakabara (Kosugi), who offers Casey to train at his dojo in Thailand to ease his pain, but Casey declines the offer. Remembering the fighting style of the muggers he encountered, Casey heads to the Azuma dojo to find out their whereabouts before ambushing and killing them in a dark alley.
Li Bai (Dick Wei) is the creator and master of the 'Shi Zi So Hou Shou' (which basically is a ' Throat Locking Hand', otherwise known as 'Shaolin Hand Lock') who passes down the skill to his children Cheng Ying (David Chiang) and Meng Ping (Chen Ping). However, an old friend Fang Yun Biao (Chan Shen) visits Li Bai and manages to kill him by attacking the skills only weakness and unknowingly, also kills his two other students to whom he believed were Li Bai's children. After his children find out of the murder, Cheng Ying sets out to avenge his father. Travelling to Thailand to kill Fang and before that, gives him information of who hired him - the rich benevolent Lin Hao (Lo Lieh). In the process, he attracts Lin Hao into accepting him as a bodyguard by stealing and retaining in custody gold that belonged to Lin Hao. While suspected by other guards, Lin Hao remains in a difficult situation to find out if Li Bai's siblings are still alive and what Cheng Ying is really there for.
The narrative centres on a nomadic opera troupe who travel to various towns as part of their nationwide tour and astound the locals with their skills. When visiting a coastal town, one of the young performers becomes involved in a market brawl after two local bullies begin to push their weight around. The righteous young performer is saved from a vicious beating at the hands of the thugs by a mysterious fighter who uses his sublime abilities to save the day. After this heroic deed, the stranger befriends the opera troupe and is accepted as one of their number by the usually suspicious entertainers. He gradually reveals to his new friends that he is a former Shaolin student and a staunch patriot - readily opposing the Manchu rulers. Unfortunately these honourable traits are of great interest to the Manchu agents who are looking to destroy any rebellion against the corrupt system. On finding their target, the agents try to capture him but, after he escapes, kill a great portion of the opera troupe instead. A further attempt to kill their patriotic enemy sees the cost of yet more innocent lives as they try viciously to bring him out of hiding. Knowing that the time to stand up for righteousness is finally here, the ex-Shaolin student organises the remaining opera troupe members into a militia to combat the powerful foes. In a finale filled with glorious fight action, the time for revenge is realised and the battle between good and evil once again takes place.
In late 9th-century imperial China, the Tang dynasty court no longer had effective control of its empire, and the national capital Chang'an was sacked by Huang Chao's anti-government army. Li Keyong, a Shatuo chieftain loyal to the Tang cause, led his troops to suppress the rebellion. His 13 generals—essentially all adopted sons—helped expel Huang from Chang'an, although a rift between some of them became more and more apparent in the process. Following the victory, Li Keyong accepted an invitation for a banquet at military governor Zhu Wen's territory of Bianliang, unaware that it was a trap to assassinate him.
Sometime in the early 1980s, Miami-Dade Police Department detective Kung Fury and his partner Dragon apprehend a red ninja in a back alley, but Dragon is sliced in half by the ninja while Kung Fury is suddenly struck by lightning and bitten by a cobra, giving him extraordinary kung fu powers that enable him to defeat his foe. Years later in 1985, after defeating a rogue arcade machine robot, Kung Fury quits the force when he is assigned to partner with Triceracop, fearing that he would lose another partner in the line of duty. Meanwhile, Adolf Hitler, a.k.a. "Kung Führer", enters the timeline and remotely guns down the police chief and attacks the precinct through a mobile phone. Intent to avenge the chief, Kung Fury has computer whiz Hackerman send him back in time to kill Hitler in Nazi Germany. A glitch in the system, however, sends him back into the Viking Age. After Kung Fury meets the Viking valkyries Barbarianna and Katana, the Norse god Thor sends him to Nazi Germany for him to finish his job.
The upright and invincible leader of the Wulin clan Lord Yin Ke Feng (Cheng Miu) helps the Luoyang government to escort two hundred million worth of gold annually and has never made a mistake. However, he accidentally loses his martial arts skills and the gold is stolen by Chao Hong (Ku Feng), leader of the Flying Tigers thieves. Lone swordsman Lo Yi (David Chiang) meets Yun Piao Piao (Lee Ching) and her fiance Siang Ding (Ti Lung), who are bodyguards for the gold. First, they fight each other before joining forces to help Yin to defeat Chao. Originally down and out, Lu is taken in by the gentle Yun and volunteers to be a bodyguard. He becomes acquainted with her through his warm-blooded actions.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty due to poverty and starvation, Ma Wing Jing (Takeshi Kaneshiro) and his older brother Ma Tai Cheung (Yuen Wah) flee from their harsh homeland to the big city of Shanghai to make their fortune. Once they arrive in Shanghai reality sets in and both are only able to secure jobs as coolies (bitter hard manual labor) making chump change. Wing Jing admires the local triad gangster boss Tam Sei's (Yuen Biao) life style. Tam Sei seeing Ma Wing Jing admire his horse carriage challenges Wing Jing to a human versus horse race. Wing Jing accepts his challenge, after seeing Wing Jing's determination, loyalty, fighting skills and athleticism the two strike up a friendship and Tam Sei tells Wing Jing to visit his night club one day if he ever needs help.
John Nguyen is a veteran suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder. Despite his status as a war hero, he's had difficulty adjusting to civilian life. When he hears a woman scream, he investigates and gets into a fight with several Aryan Nation thugs who are hassling Tanya, a prostitute in the service of local crime boss Hollis. Tanya is horrified when John kills all but one of the thugs; although thankful for his help, she says that John has doomed them both to die at Hollis' hands. Planning to flee the city, Tanya buys a bus ticket, but Hollis convinces her to stay by promising her that she can come off the streets and live with him again. Hollis directs his lieutenant Vin to murder John's family. Although reluctant, Vin complies. Enraged, John tracks down Bennett, a drug dealer, and strikes back at Hollis' meth business, brutally killing several of the men responsible for his family's death.
The villainous 4th Prince plots to change a royal edict proclaiming himself as heir to the throne instead of the Emperor's favoured fourteenth prince. The Fourth prince gets the backing of Han loyalists by promising that the Manchu rule of iron will soften when he is in power however he fails to keep his promise and turns against those that helped him.
Boss Cat (Eric Tsang) is a warrior who had participated in the Boxer Rebellion. Cat is responsible for guarding Huang Jin Xia town, which have gathered many revolutionaries around China. There, they do not discuss about revolution nor care about politics and lead peaceful lives there. Sai-lim (Gigi Leung), a woman who was rescued by Cat, is oblivious that years ago, Cat not only rescued her and her child, he also rescued her heart.
Dans une Chine déchirée par des guerres désastreuses entre les différentes écoles d'arts martiaux, Hadès Dai, le seigneur de l'école du "Lotus de l'Ouest", poussé par les visions d'une sorcière, cherche à s'emparer de l'épée "Destinée" afin d'obtenir le pouvoir suprême. Le Seigneur Dai envoie alors le jeune Wei Fang à Pékin pour dérober l'épée dans le palais du Seigneur Tié qui vient de décéder. Wei Fang est battu, puis emprisonné par Yu Shu Lien et son élève, la jeune Vase de neige. Yu Shu Lien comprend dès lors qu'il lui faut rassembler les derniers adeptes de l'école du "Sentier de Fer" qui se sont toujours battus pour le code, le devoir et l'honneur. Cinq guerriers du Jiang hu la rejoignent : Loup silencieux, l'homme auquel elle avait jadis été promise et qu'elle croyait mort, Lame volante, Chan Poing de Tonnerre, Shi Fléchettes d'argent et Ma Tortue. Lorsque les troupes du "Lotus de l'Ouest" pénètrent de nuit dans le palais, Vase de neige libère Wei Fang qui s'empare alors de l'épée légendaire pour la ramener à Hadès Dai. Cependant, agenouillé devant le seigneur Dai, Wei Fang brandit l'épée "Destinée" et tente de le tuer afin de venger la mort de sa mère, la guerrière renégate Han Mei, dont la véritable histoire lui avait été dévoilée par Vase de neige qui fut son élève. En mauvaise posture, Wei Fang est secouru par Loup silencieux, Yu Shu Lien et deux autres guerriers. Au cours d'un duel sanglant, Loup silencieux finit par tuer Hadès Dai. Yu Shu Lien emporte alors l'épée "Destinée", qui suscite tant de convoitises et provoque tant de morts, aux Monts Wudang.
