Carmela, Paulino, and Gustavete - who is mute as the result of an explosion - are a trio of travelling vaudeville performers. Amidst the chaos of the Spanish Civil War, they are in the town of Montejo, entertaining republican troops with their variety show. They are survivors who are motivated, not exactly by patriotism, but by a desire for self-preservation. Their show consists of four acts. It begins with Carmela singing and dancing a traditional song. The audience is enthusiastic during her performance, but the mood changes completely when the sound of approaching nationalist planes is heard.

Ángela Vidal (Manuela Velasco), and her cameraman, Pablo, are covering the night shift in one of Barcelona's local fire stations for the documentary television series While You're Sleeping. While they are recording, the firehouse receives a call about an old woman, Mrs. Izquierdo, who is trapped in her apartment and screaming. Ángela and Pablo accompany two of the firefighters, Álex and Manu, to the apartment building, where two police officers are waiting. As they approach the old woman, she becomes aggressive and attacks one of the officers, biting his neck.
Dr. Owen (Jonathan Mellor), an official from the Ministry of Health, and a GEO team equipped with video cameras are sent into a quarantined apartment building to control the situation. After Martos, a GEO officer, is killed and infected encountering some of the infected, Owen uses religious mantra and rosary to hold him off in a room. It turns out that Owen is actually a priest sent by the Vatican to get a blood sample from a possessed girl named Tristana Medeiros.
Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate their wedding day. The wedding is filmed by Koldo's cousin, Adrián, and their wedding photographer, Atun, plus footage cuts from other guests' mobile phones and cameras. The guests travel to the wedding reception, held in a huge mansion, on chartered coaches. Adrián films his uncle, who says he was bitten by a dog, but says he will be all right.
The film opens with the GEOs sent in to recover Ángela. They begin setting bombs all over the apartments, but when they're ambushed by the infected Manu and the old man, they then kill them off and kill the officers infected as well. They then hear Ángela's screams for help and tell her it is time to get out.
During the original outbreak of the Rage Virus, Don, his wife Alice, and four other survivors hide in a barricaded cottage on the outskirts of London. They hear a terrified boy pounding at their door, and let him in. A few minutes later, they discover that the infected have followed the boy to them. The infected attack and kill most of the survivors, while Don, Alice, and the boy are chased upstairs. Don is separated from Alice and when the boy is seen hiding in the closet. Alice rushes to get the boy, while Don tells her to just leave him. Soon the infected break into the room and after Alice pleading with Don to "help us", he decides to leave, abandoning them. Don desperately sprints to a nearby motorboat and narrowly escapes.

Au-delà d'un permis de 48 heures, la liberté de Tano devient un voyage imposé vers la maturité.
Axun, une femme de 70 ans se rend à l'hôpital pour s'occuper de l'ex-mari de sa fille. Elle découvre que la femme qui s'occupe du malade du lit voisin est Maïté, sa meilleure amie d'adolescence. Elles profitent de leurs retrouvailles jusqu'à ce que Axun s'aperçoive que Maïté est plutôt attirée par les femmes... Chacune devra alors affronter des sentiments divergents.
Julián Torralba is a former film stuntman in Almeria, Spain. He and several of his colleagues, who once made a living in American Westerns shot in Spain, now are reduced to doing stunt shows for minuscule audiences on the decaying set built for those old Westerns. Julián wrestles with dark memories of the death of his son, also a stuntman, and with estrangement from his daughter-in-law Laura and her son Carlos. Carlos, a young boy, becomes intrigued with his late father's life and runs away to join Julián and his band of has-beens. There Carlos is initiated into the rambunctious life of these hard-drinking faux cowboys. But when Laura, a powerful executive looking for a new site for a tourist resort, learns that Carlos has joined the hated Julián, she moves to destroy even this remnant of Julián's once-proud career. Julián and the cowboys decide to fight back the only way they know how.

Estefania Sánchez, known as Fanny Pelopaja for her bleach blond hair, is a cold-blooded woman who recently has been released from jail after serving a three-year sentence. She has built up a new life for herself working in a gas station. However, she has been waiting all this time to take revenge from a corrupt and brutal police officer, Andrés Gallego. A phone call from one of her old cronies informs her that Andrés is working in Barcelona as a security guard for an armored car company. Fanny leaves everything behind and takes the road back to Barcelona.
