The film starts with a farewell ceremony in Krasnoyarsk, where a band of young recruits is preparing for their departure to their place of military service. On arrival at their bootcamp in the Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan they meet their drill instructor, Senior Praporschik Dygalo, a seasoned veteran of several tours in Afghanistan and a brutal trainer who treats the recruits very harshly and forces them to take part in extreme physical exercises everyday. During their harsh and brutal training, the recruits overcome their differences and build bonds. Between the harsh training sessions, they receive lessons in operating dangerous plastic explosives and how to conduct themselves in Afghanistan.
The setting of the film is a high fantasy Dark Ages Europe, in which desperate and bloodthirsty warlords fight brutal battles in their eternal quest for overlordship. Yet their swords, shields, lances, spears and arrows are all brittle, prone to wear and tear, and dull, protracting their campaigns against each other without end. Word spreads of a man in one of the Northern tribes: an adept blacksmith capable of crafting far hardier, stronger, sharper, and more durable weapons than any other known to exist, with aid of a mystical element. The warlords search for the enigmatic master of weapons to no avail.
Dmitry "Dima" Maykov (Grigoriy Dobrygin), an average university student at Moscow State University, is given a car for his birthday by his father (Sergei Garmash), a black 1966 GAZ 21 Volga. However, this is not an ordinary car; it is a secret product of a Soviet defense contract, and is equipped with a rocket engine. Dima, however, suspects none of this. He's not even excited when he finds an old record and a photo of three scientists in the glove box of the car.

In 1955, a group of young Muscovite Komsomol (communist youth) students led by Katerina intercepts illegal stilyagi gatherings in Gorky Park. Perceived as "enemies of society", the stilyagi are forced to flee, with many of them getting caught and their clothing, ties or hair cut by the Komsomol for demonstrative purposes. Mels, a twenty-year-old paragon athletic student and member of the Komsomol, is ordered by Katia to chase one of the escapists, another young girl. However, the girl soon tricks him into believing that she broke her ankle, and then abruptly pushes Mels into a pond, at the same time inviting him to "come spend some time with Polly (Russian: Польза, wordplay on "benefit") on the Broadway".
L'histoire se déroule dans l'Ukraine du XVII siècle. Le vieux colonel ouman Taras Boulba accueille ses deux fils, Ostap et Andreï, rentrés après deux ans d'études au séminaire de Kiev. Il les accompagne vers la Sitch Zaporogue afin de les initier à l'art militaire. Alors qu'ils se trouvent dans le camp, une mauvaise nouvelle leur parvient. Il s'avère que les Polonais ont attaqué le khoutor de Boulba et que sa femme a été tuée. Tarass se joint alors aux cosaques qui affrontent les troupes polonaises. Ils assiègent la ville de Doubno jusqu'à ce que ses habitants commencent à manquer de vivres. Mais le vieux colonel ignore que son cadet, Andreï, est amoureux de la jeune fille du voïvode Mazowiecki, Elżbieta, rencontrée à Kiev, qui se meurt de faim de l'autre côté de la muraille. Une nuit, la servante de Elżbieta amène le jeune homme par le passage souterrain jusqu'à sa maitresse qu'il décide ne plus jamais quitter. Le lendemain, Tarass voit apparaître son fils à la tête de la cavalerie de contre-offensive. Il ordonne alors à ses hommes d'attirer Andreï dans les bois où il le tue après l'avoir renié. Pendant ce temps, son ainé, Ostap, est capturé par l'ennemi et transporté à Varsovie. Aidé de Yankel, le marchand juif jadis sauvé lors d'un pogrome, Tarass vole au secours de son fils, mais arrive juste au moment quand ce dernier se fait exécuter après une séance de torture sur la place publique. Taras fait payer cher la mort d'Ostap, bravant la mort, mais au bout d'un moment son unité est repérée et encerclée. Comprenant que l'ennemi est surtout après lui, il permet à ses compagnons de s'échapper, se laisse faire prisonnier et sera brûlé vif sur le bûcher. Elżbieta donne naissance à un garçon. Elle meurt en couches. Son père, le voïvode Mazowiecki, fou de douleur, prend un sabre et le brandit au-dessus de l'enfant, mais ne parvient pas à tuer un être sans défense qui est en plus son petit-fils.
Le film relate le détournement d'un avion de transport humanitaire russe, l'Iliouchine 76 TD immatriculé RA-76842, survenu le 3 août 1995 lors du survol par l'appareil du territoire afghan alors sous contrôle des fondamentalistes taliban, ainsi que la détention de l'équipage dans la ville de Kandahar, jusqu'à son évasion après 378 jours de captivité. Le film est inspiré de faits réels.
Henry est sur le point de mourir mais est ramené à la vie par son épouse, qui l'a en partie transformé en cyborg. Il doit sauver cette dernière des griffes d'un tyran psychotique doté de pouvoirs télékinétiques, Akan, et de son armée de mercenaires.
En février 1985, la station spatiale soviétique Salyut 7, inoccupée depuis six mois, cesse de répondre aux signaux envoyés depuis le Centre de contrôle des vols spatiaux TsUP et ne parvient visiblement plus à contrôler son orientation. Les autorités redoutent la chute de l'installation sur la Terre, ce qui peut produire de nombreuses victimes et causer des ennuis importants à l'Union soviétique dans le contexte de la guerre froide. Pour essayer de sauver la station, il est décidé de lancer deux cosmonautes les plus qualifiés, Vladimir Fedorov et Viktor Alekhine, à bord de Soyouz T-13 pour rattraper la station morte, identifier l'origine du problème et le corriger. Le rendez-vous spatial se déroule avec succès. Les deux cosmonautes commencent à travailler à la réparation de la panne, tout en comprenant que leur retour sur la Terre peut être compromis, la station ne répond à aucun contrôle humain.
Kseniya (Svetlana Ivanova), a 23-year-old Muscovite pastry chef, is very busy with her new second-chance romantic relationship, while her 7-year-old son Artyom (Artyom Fadeev), suffering from the pain of his parents separation, hides in a world of fantasy every time he feels like been hurt or lonely. In his (children's theater play inspired) fantasies he sees himself as a superhero Kosmoboy, who, together with a giant Kind Robot (face and voice of Egor Beroev) battles against the terrifying monster robot Mrakovlast ("Darklord"). Everything changes when on August 5th 2008 Kseniya gets a call from her ex-husband and Artyom's father Ossetian Zaur (Egor Beroev), who serves as a peacekeeper in South Ossetia. He misses Artyom very much and asks her to send the boy to his parents, who live in the village of Sidamonta, right next to the administrative border separating South Ossetia from the rest of Georgia. Zaur assures her that everything is perfectly safe. Kseniya, after some hesitation, agrees, because she wants to take a vacation in Sochi with her new boyfriend, a bank employee, Yegor (Aleksandr Oleshko), who can't find understanding with Artyom and Kseniya needs some private time with her new lover. But she agrees under a condition, that Zaur sends her son back immediately as soon as she asks him to.
The Snow Queen covered the world in ice. Only Master Vegard stands in her way, whose mirrors reflect not only appearances but also souls. Years later, the Snow Queen's servile troll Orm (who can shapeshift into a black weasel) locates Kai, who is deemed Vegard's successor, at an orphanage. After a tangle between both siblings and Orm, Kai is abducted by the polar wind to the Snow Queen's palace. Gerda embarks on a journey with Orm and her pet white weasel Luta across the icy lands to rescue her brother.

Elles peuvent être activées par un code de 11 chiffres, dont une partie différente a été communiquée à ses amis de confiance. Après la mort d'icelui, son complice cherche à le reconstituer pour les faire exploser mais il est poursuivi par un agent russe infiltré. Chacun essaie de trouver les fragments du code, l'un pour faire exploser les bombes, l'autre pour les inactiver.
