Anna Bronsky est professeure de violon au Conservatoire. Contre l’avis de ses collègues, elle impose l’admission d’un élève , en qui elle voit un grand talent. Avec beaucoup d’implication, elle prépare Alexander à l’examen de fin d’année et néglige de ce fait son jeune fils Jonas, lui aussi élève violoniste et passionné de hockey sur glace. Elle s’éloigne de plus en plus de son mari, si aimant à son égard, le luthier français Philippe Bronsky . A l’approche de l’audition, Anna pousse Alexander vers des performances de plus en plus exceptionnelles. Le jour décisif, un accident se produit, lourd de conséquences…

Shiva (S. J. Surya) who works as an assistant under Vetriselvan gets an opportunity to compose music for a small time film. When he seeks permission from Vetriselvan to go ahead with his first venture as a music director, Vetriselvan doesn't oppose the idea as he wouldn't have imagined even in his wildest dream that one day A. K. Shiva would surpass him in the musical world.
Marc, cascadeur équestre, se retrouve en chaise roulante à la suite d'un accident sur un tournage : jeté à bas de son cheval Othello, il est piétiné par celui-ci. Florence est chargée du dossier d'indemnisation par la compagnie d'assurances. Mais Marc refuse le compromis proposé. De son côté, Florence supporte de plus en plus difficilement les pressions exercées par sa compagnie à l'encontre de Marc, qu'elle va finalement protéger de la malhonnêteté des assureurs. Elle se prend d'affection pour Marc, déterminé à remonter sur son cheval, et qui va lui redonner la passion du piano.
