En 1524, Ezio Auditore s'est retiré dans une villa dans les environs de Florence, loin de son passé de Maître Assassin. Il partage son quotidien entre l'écriture de ses mémoires avec sa femme, Sofia Sartor, une jeune libraire rencontrée à Constantinople, et la culture de la vigne. Cependant, une femme Assassin, Shao Jun, venue de l'Asie fait appel à la sagesse du maître, son ordre étant en danger dans son pays. Ezio refuse catégoriquement, sous prétexte que cette partie de sa vie est derrière lui. Cependant, lors d'un tour à Florence, Ezio raconte à Shao Jun où son père et ses frères ont été condamnés à mort et comme il se réjouit que l'atmosphère de l'endroit ait changé. Sur le chemin du retour, ils se font attaquer, dans une ruelle, par un homme à la solde de l'empereur chinois avant de prendre la fuite. Une fois rentré, Ezio envoie Sofia et ses enfants, Marcello et Flavia, chez Machiavellì afin de les protéger d'éventuelles représailles. La nuit venue, Ezio explique les motivations que Shao Jun doit avoir afin de rétablir son ordre et celles qu'elle doit éviter, en se fiant à son expérience avec les Borgia. Juste après, ils se font attaquer par d'autres mercenaires qui sont finalement vaincus.

In their next interview with Venkenheim, he discusses how the Illuminati were trying to discover the secret of life when Johann secretly founded genetics. However, because Johann destroyed his notes, Venkenheim has no proof.

In a college computer lab run by Professor Robert Kaufman, as he goes to check on his two students; Eric Staufer and Bill McLemore, a new creature - the Phantom Virus - comes out of a new game based on the Mystery Gang's past adventures and tries to scare away the game's creator Eric. The next day, Mystery, Inc. themselves come to the college and learn from their friend Eric, that the virus had assumed a lifelike form thanks to an experimental laser which is able to transmit objects into cyberspace, and is now rampant across the campus. The gang goes on the hunt for the Phantom Virus, where the virus chases Scooby and Shaggy through the college. Unfortunately, the whole gang, including the virus, somehow gets pulled into the game after 'someone' activates the laser. Left with no other choice, the gang fight their way through the ten levels of mystery and adventures to complete the game in order to escape it, with the goal of finding a box of Scooby Snax to complete each level. Their efforts are impeded on each level by the Phantom Virus. The first level is on the moon, the second is in the Roman Colosseum, the third is in the dinosaur age, the fourth is under the sea, the fifth is in a (shrunken) backyard, the sixth is ancient Japan, the seventh is in ancient Egypt, the eighth is in medieval times, and the ninth is in the North Pole.

Residing in the Los Angeles County city of Pasadena, four middle class ladies in their late sixties (Helen Hayes, Myrna Loy, Mildred Natwick and Sylvia Sidney) habitually meet for lunch and exchange small talk with their waitress (Dodo Denney). During the meal they discuss an "amusing" project to create a fictitious profile of a young woman and submit it to a computer dating service. Several days later, they start receiving letters from potential suitors and derive additional amusement from reading them out loud. Meanwhile, after dark, in a car parked in front of her home on a quiet residential street, a young woman (Diane Shalet) becomes alarmed by the aggressive behavior of her date (Vince Edwards) whose attempts to force himself upon her cause her to scramble out of his car and, when he comes out and attempts to manhandle and restrain her, she tearfully runs into the house, as her mother (Margaret Wheeler) calls out through the window, "Ruthie". The man gets back in his car and drives away while his audible thoughts reveal that he has difficulty relating to women and the resulting resentment and rage he feels towards them. He tries to recall the name of another prospect for a relationship and settles on the fictitious "Rebecca" submitted to the "Scientific Associates" computer dating agency by the aged ladies.
