The film depicts an evil scientist's (Dean Jagger) campaign to achieve eternal youth, through synthesizing a drug derived from human pituitary fluid. In extracting the fluid, he creates mindless zombies from the donors. Because the local town residents are in on the plot, to achieve immortality, they help the scientist, by abducting visitors who come through town.
This original story marries three different elements into one plot.
Alex Stokes (Andrew Roth) is a self-destructive, down-on-his-luck investigator who takes cases wherever he can. When a mysterious man offers him a healthy sum to follow his beautiful wife Claire (Melantha Blackthorne), Alex can't resist. Her seemingly mundane day-to-day activities take a strange turn when she tries to kill herself.
First Platoon centers around Rock Brannigan (Scott Gibson) and his ragtag squad of ex-military zombie hunters trying to make a living in the desert Southwest two years after the zombie apocalypse. Along the way, they encounter the grizzled Pa Jericho (Sid Haig), and the eccentric Rex Necro (Malcolm McDowell).
The story tells of a fictional 2006 FIFA World Cup Finale between Germany and Netherlands. When the team from Germany loses, they send out as revenge a zombie invasion. A small group of friends moves away from the nationwide madness, to a North Sea island where a horde of Wehrmacht zombies wait.
Cab driver Stan slams into a homeless man who gets up and walks away, leaving behind a scarf covered with writhing maggots. Obsessed with the mystery, Stan hunts the ragtag figure through the city, discovering a trail of mangled, half-eaten victims, and an urban legend: Puss Head was a sewer worker who came back from an uncharted tunnel changed into something both living and dead. Parents warn their children that the shuffling zombie will get them if they stay out on the streets too late. But as the body count rises, Stan finds that the legend is alive and hungry.
A zombie horde overtakes the Mall of America. Meanwhile, we see a man named Tom feverishly barricading the inside of his house, only to have his not-too-bright girlfriend open a window to let some fresh air in.
During the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, a virus was released which causes a zombie uprising which decimates humanity. In the year 2018, six years after civilization is destroyed and with few humans left, the King of the Zombies (Noel Fielding) organizes a music festival to keep the zombie horde entertained after the zombie apocalypse.
Ed Chilton inherits his family's hardware store following the death of his beloved mother, Mabel. He lives with his maternal uncle, Benny, who appears to be happy that his annoying sister is out of his life. One morning, Ed is approached at work by salesman A. J. Peddle, who offers to resurrect Ed's mother for $1000. Ed is skeptical, but Peddle insists that it must be done immediately, as she has been dead for too long to risk further delays. Ed accepts, which disturbs Uncle Benny, who believes the act to be unethical. Over time, Mabel's behavior becomes increasingly bizarre and unacceptable. When she begins scaring the neighbors and chasing dogs with a knife, Ed is forced to admit that something is wrong. He seeks help from Peddle, but the salesman wants more money. Eventually, Ed accepts that he must move on and let his mother die. He decapitates Mabel and says goodbye to her, but the head comes back to life and bites him on the lip when he gives her a final kiss. Disgusted, he throws the head into the grave, finally free of his overbearing mother.
At an unspecified point in the future, the government created a type of jet which never needed refueling, but which leaked a type radiation that caused those exposed to it to die, and reanimate as intelligent zombies dubbed "Grubs". One of the victims of the radiation is a prostitute whose scarred body is taken to a laboratory, where she wakes up while being sexually abused by a pair of necrophilic scientists, who she kills after deeming what they have done "the worst fuck of my life".
