Adam Offord Buxton (born 7 June 1969) is an English comedian, writer and actor. With Joe Cornish, he forms one half of the duo Adam and Joe. The pair presented Adam and Joe on BBC Radio 6 Music, whilst Buxton also presented his own show on 6 Music on Sundays, called Adam Buxton's Big Mix Tape. In 2012-2013 Buxton presented another radio show for BBC 6 Music, co-hosting with Edith Bowman.
When not presenting on radio and television or recording podcasts, Buxton hosts Bug, a humorous exploration of music videos through YouTube comments, which also had a televised version in 2012. He's also guested on various comedy panel shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
Buxton lives in Norwich with his wife, Sarah, and their three children: sons Frank and Natty and daughter Hope.

Biography
Buxton was born in London, and spent some of his childhood in Wales. His father is Nigel Buxton, known as a travel writer and wine critic and later to appear on The Adam and Joe Show as "Baaad Dad". His mother is Chilean. Along with Joe Cornish and friend Louis Theroux, Buxton was educated at the independent Westminster School. According to an interview with The Guardian newspaper, he attended the University of Warwick for two terms, before dropping out to study sculpture at Cheltenham College of Art, now known as the University of Gloucestershire.Buxton lives in Norwich with his wife, Sarah, and their three children: sons Frank and Natty and daughter Hope.

Walking home on Bonfire Night through "The Ends" in Brixton, new-to-the-area nurse Samantha Adams is mugged by a small gang of teenage hoodlums: Pest, Dennis, Jerome, Biggz, and leader Moses. The attack is interrupted when a meteorite falls from the sky into a nearby car, giving Samantha the chance to escape. As Moses searches the wreck of the car for valuables, his face is scratched by a pale, hairless, eyeless dog-sized creature; the object which fell from the sky was its cocoon. The creature runs away, but the gang chase and kill it. Hoping to gain fame and fortune, they take the corpse to their acquaintance, cannabis dealer Ron, to get advice on what to do. He lives at the top of their tower block, Wyndham Tower.

Police Constable Nicholas Angel, a high-achieving member of the Metropolitan Police Service, is promoted to Sergeant but it comes with being transferred to the village of Sandford, Gloucestershire, for being too good at his job while making his colleagues look bad by comparison due to his skills. Will (Bill Milner) is quiet and shy, and comes from a family that belongs to the strict Plymouth Brethren church. Will is forbidden to watch films or television and is made to leave his classroom when the teacher puts on a documentary. In the corridor, he meets Lee Carter (Will Poulter), the worst-behaved boy in school, thrown out of another class for bad behaviour. They accidentally break a fish bowl in the corridor; Lee volunteers to take the blame, pretending that the punishment is torture, in exchange for Will's watch, which belonged to his dead father. Moreover, Lee demands that Will performs the stunts in a film Lee is making with home video equipment owned by his bullying older brother, Lawrence (Ed Westwick), which Lawrence uses in his video pirating enterprise. He intends to enter the Screen Test Young Film-Makers' Competition.
