François, un petit garçon de cinq ans dont le père, André, tient un restaurant à Deauville, fait une fugue en compagnie de Malène Dupuis, la fille d'une célèbre cantatrice. Les deux enfants se réfugient dans le commissariat de la ville où leurs parents angoissés les retrouvent avec soulagement. Dix ans plus tard, François, devenu adolescent, atterrit par hasard en parachute dans la propriété des parents de Malène. Les deux jeunes gens se retrouvent le temps d'un bal puis se séparent lorsque les parents de Malène décident brusquement de partir pour la Camargue. François décide alors d'accompagner son père et son épouse pour retrouver la jeune fille. Tandis qu'André organise une corrida en l'honneur de Malène, cette dernière manque de se noyer dans le Rhône, avant d'être sauvée in extremis par Luc, un élégant jeune homme, qui aura une aventure avec sa propre tante.

Roger ne rêve que de journalisme ; Bernard que d'embrasser la carrière des armes. Qu'à cela ne tienne : liés par une indéfectible amitié, le second accepte d'accompagner le premier pour une série de photos sur un circuit automobile. Témoins d'un grave accident, Roger sauve le pilote au péril de sa vie, juste avant l'explosion du véhicule. Tous trois légèrement blessés se retrouvent à l'hôpital où Patrick Le Kermadec, notable « chouan » et oncle du coureur, vient remercier Roger de son acte héroïque. Mais il se trompe de chambre, s'adressant à Bernard, qu'un volumineux bandage rend méconnaissable. Elisabeth, la jeune tante de Roger, se trouve justement à son côté. À une question du notable, elle répond que le jeune blessé (Bernard en l'occurrence) compte devenir officier, (ce qui a l'air de ravir le « chouan »). Comprenant bientôt le quiproquo, Elisabeth va pousser Roger à « faire ses classes » et ce d'autant que Kermadec semble tout prêt à les aider, manifestement attiré par le charme de la jeune femme qu'il invite dans sa propriété avec Roger et son jeune frère. Mais Roger est déjà parti en Bretagne où il va faire inopinément connaissance de la belle Sylvie... qui s'avérera être la nièce de Le Kermadec. Après bien des aventures, l'amour triomphera.

Joseph is a 12-year-old boy running from children's home to children's home with his autistic sister Chloé in tow. Chloé cannot bear to be touched, following only Joseph's commands as instruction. Joseph is fiercely protective of her as they flee the authorities to find their way home, back to the parents he believes abandoned them many years ago. They cling to a distant memory of a picturesque house, Chloé is able to construct it exactly the same each time, using the pieces of broken colored glass, she carries with her everywhere. Their plan is short-lived however, when they are caught and returned to yet another care home. Joseph wastes no time in stealing from his room-mates and demanding the two be left alone. Chloé makes great progress however with her carer, who is able to assess her condition and continue her care. Joseph quietly resents this new control in her life and is soon discovered to be a thief by his roommate, Karim who develops a begrudging respect for him. Their situation worsens still when a figure from his and Chloé's past returns and reveals a secret which enrages Joseph who lashes out violently and flees with Chloé. Pursued through Marseilles as Joseph steals his way from one situation to the next, Chloé is determined to find the home she can picture so vividly. They meet up with Karim, himself escaped from children's care, with big plans about how he and Joseph can make money. Chloé leads them to a house she believes to be home. They break in and while Karim robs it, Chloé lovingly embraces her new surroundings. Joseph sees threat in this and burns the house to the ground, the three of them escaping the burning building. Chloé and Joseph share a moment where for the first time she allows Joseph to take her hand, as a reassurance she will not leave him. The police soon arrive, with Joseph hysterically dragged away and with Chloé this time placed in a secure psychiatric facility. Without Chloé, Joseph descends further into depression and violent behaviour, attempting even suicide. His savior is Karim, whose gang violently beats Joseph's accompanying officers to free him. Karim knows where Chloé is and has a plan and after this plan Joseph and Chloé's life and indeed their relationship will change forever in ways they could never imagine.

Gérard Bédécarax, dit Bédé, travaille pour une organisation criminelle parisienne où il est chargé de récupérer l'argent de la "protection". Son chef, Bergosa, lui demande de conclure un achat avec un autre groupe de malfrats mais la rencontre tourne au carnage à cause du neveu de Bergosa. Seul survivant du massacre, Bédé récupère l'argent de la transaction et, sur les recommandations d'un ami, part se mettre au vert dans un centre d'hébergement pour jeunes délinquants dans l'Aveyron près de Millau, où il se fait passer pour un éducateur. The movie is about an 18-year-old boy who has been orphaned after his father died from a truck crash while he was in his usual work. The father was a cyclo driver, and his desire was the son would have a better life than he had. However, after the father’s death, because of the family hardship, the boy has to take over the father’s job, pedaling a rental cyclo around busy streets of Sai Gon city to earn a living. Anna Oz a une vie de rêve. The film depicts approximately 19 consecutive hours in the lives of three friends in their early twenties from immigrant families living in an impoverished multi-ethnic French housing project (a ZUP – zone d'urbanisation prioritaire) in the suburbs of Paris, in the aftermath of a riot. Vinz (Vincent Cassel), who is Jewish, is filled with rage. He sees himself as a gangster ready to win respect by killing a cop, manically practising the role of Travis Bickle from the film Taxi Driver in the mirror secretly. His attitude towards police, for instance, is a simplified, stylized blanket condemnation, even to individual policemen who make an effort to steer the trio clear of troublesome situations. Hubert (Hubert Koundé) is an Afro-French boxer and small time drug dealer, the most mature of the three, whose gymnasium was burned in the riots. The quietest, most thoughtful and wisest of the three, he sadly contemplates the ghetto and the hate around him. He expresses the wish to simply leave this world of violence and hate behind him, but does not know how since he lacks the means to do so. Saïd – Sayid in some English subtitles – (Saïd Taghmaoui) is an Arab Maghrebi who inhabits the middle ground between his two friends' responses to their place in life.
