Alessandra Torresani (born Alessandra Olivia Toreson; May 29, 1987) is an American actress. She is best known for the portrayal of Zoe Graystone in the science fiction television series Caprica. Prior to 2007, she was credited as Alessandra Toreson.

Avant d'être actrice, Alessandra Torresani faisait de la danse et du chant à l'âge de deux ans. Ses débuts à la télévision commence réellement à partir de ses neuf ans lorsqu'elle réalise des entrevues pour Kids' WB Club diffusé entre les dessins animés pour la station WB de San Francisco. Having previously broken up with her boyfriend John, photographer Lee returns to John's house to retrieve her cameras. There, she discovers mounting evidence that John has not been home for a long time. Worried, she contact the police, and Sergeant Goodman takes her report, though he suggests that John may simply not want to contact her. At an exhibition of her work, her daughter Jessie rebukes her efforts at reconciliation, and Lee mistakes a stranger for John. Haunted by her experiences in Somalia, Lee experiences mental breakdown and leaves the bathroom completely naked. Her ex-husband and daughter escort her out and have her committed to an upscale psychiatric hospital.

On October 21, 1994, Harlan Diehl (Luke Bonczyk) murders his family at their farmhouse and he is shot by the police, as he kills his sister. The tragedy leaves behind video footage which he had taped and his sister's baby who lives. Fifteen years later in Marshall, Michigan, an ambitious high school student Julian Miller (Johnny Pacar), is tasked with completing a film assignment on forgotten local stories for journalism class. Choosing the Harlan Diehl case, though it goes against the wishes of his mother, Anne Miller (Lisa Jane Todd), he selects his girlfriend, Riley (Ambyr Childers), to be his project partner, and borrows camera equipment and archive footage from his reserved former coworker at a video store, Quinn (Toby Hemingway), who has since become a news station cataloger. He also recruits his fun-loving friends, DeeDee Baker (Jennifer Missoni), Nate (Jonathan Keltz), and Brianna Baker (Alessandra Torresani) to re-enact the murder scene, allowing him to produce a gory slasher movie.
