Alessandro Momo was an Italian actor, most noted for his role in 1974's Scent of a Woman. He died in a motorcycle accident in Rome on November 19, 1974, at the age of 17.
He began his career very young, as the protagonist in a series of photo stories for boys, also acting together with Giusva Fioravanti.
It became famous thanks to his performances alongside Laura Antonelli in the movies Malizia by Salvatore Samperi and venial sin, died in the weeks following the end of the making of the film Scent of a Woman, by Dino Risi, which was co-star alongside Vittorio Gassman and Agostina Belli.
Momo died from a motorcycle accident. The bike that had the fatal accident, a Honda CB750 [3], he was given by his friend Eleonora Giorgi, left for a trip; the actress was later investigated for reckless expectations because Alexander was not yet 18 years of age and was not entitled to drive superbike, according to the regulations at the time. Some time later, the singer Patrizio Sandrelli dedicated a song to his memory, which had some success: Brother in love. It is buried in the cemetery of Verano, in Rome, along with his father Gabriel.

A blind Italian captain, accompanied by his aide Ciccio, who has been assigned to him by the army, is on his way from Turin to Naples to meet with an old comrade who was also disfigured in the same military incident. Unknown to his aide, the Captain means to fulfill a suicide pact there. While they journey, the Captain asks Ciccio to help him spot beautiful women. Unsatisfied with the boy's descriptions, he uses his nose instead, claiming that he can smell a beautiful woman. During their journey, he carries with him a picture of his beloved Sara, whom he could not bear to have see him disfigured and helpless. The suicide pact is eventually thwarted once Sara enters the picture, and the boy Ciccio does some much-needed growing up.

Following the death of his wife, a father of three sons (aged 18, 14 and 6) hires an attractive young housekeeper named Angela (Laura Antonelli), and soon becomes engaged to her. His sons are also infatuated with Angela, and each of them uses their particular way to approach and capture the apparently innocent and naive young woman, and to see more of her body.
