Aleksandr Sergeievich Demyanenko (Russian: Алекса́ндр Серге́евич Демья́ненко; May 30, 1937 – August 22, 1999) was a Russian film and theater actor. He was given the honorary distinction of People's Artist of the RSFSR. He began his acting career with the film Veter in 1958, and is well known for playing the character Shurik in a number of films, beginning with the 1965 comedy Operation Y and Other Shurik's Adventures, and ending with the 1997 film Old Songs of the Main Things 2.

Alexandre Demianenko suit une formation en art dramatique à l'Académie russe des arts du théâtre de Moscou. Il commence sa carrière d'acteur au cinéma avec Veter (Le Vent) en 1958. Il est principalement connu pour avoir joué le personnage de Chourik dans plusieurs films, le premier étant Opération Y et autres aventures de Chourik en 1965, suivi de La Prisonnière du Caucase ou les Nouvelles Aventures de Chourik en 1967, le dernier de la série étant Les vieilles chansons sur ce qui est principal 2 sorti en 1997.

L'histoire se déroule dans les faubourgs d'Odessa après la révolution russe. Un certain bandit "Tcherven" terrorise la ville. Volodia Patrikeev, fils du professeur et idéaliste à peine sorti de l’adolescence rêve de combattre les ennemis du régime communiste. Il se présente au chef de la milice locale afin d’intégrer le service de répression du banditisme. Mais il est envoyé dans la banlieue démêler les petites affaires sans importance. Il a sous ses ordres un inspecteur du nom de Grichtchenko qui occupe son post depuis longtemps et connait le coin comme sa poche. C'est un homme de terrain et paysan dans l'âme, l'exercice de sa fonction relève de la pure improvisation. Effaré, Patrikeev constate que Grichtchenko rend aux habitants locaux "pour l'usage pour un certain temps" l'alcool saisi dans les distilleries clandestines, non pas pour contourner la loi, mais pour que le produit ne se perd pas. Son autre inspecteur Victor Chestakov est un autodidacte, un homme réservé et courageux. Avec Grichtchenko, le premier jour de leur collaboration, ils se font voler le fourgon vert qui sert pour tous les déplacements de leur brigade. Patrikeev est contraint d'arrêter pour ce vol l'un de ses camarades d'école, un certain "Krasavtchik" qu'il affrontait dans le temps sur le terrain de football et qui à cause de ce détail lui est d'autant plus sympathique. "Krasavtchik" s'évade. En le poursuivant, Patrikeev finira par tomber sur la planque de "Tcherven" et découvrir derrière ce surnom quelqu'un qu'il connaissait depuis longtemps.

During the Great Patriotic War (World War II), two Soviet partisans go to a Belarusian village in search of food. After taking a farm animal from the collaborationist headman (Sergei Yakovlev), they head back to their unit, but are spotted by a German patrol. After a protracted gunfight in the snow in which one of the Germans is killed, the two men get away, but Sotnikov (Boris Plotnikov) is shot in the leg. The story begins in 1973 Moscow, where Engineer Aleksandr (Shurik) Timofeev (Aleksandr Demyanenko) is working on a time machine in his apartment. By accident, he sends Ivan Vasilevich Bunsha (Yuri Yakovlev), superintendent of his apartment building, and George Miloslavsky (Leonid Kuravlev), a small-time burglar, back into the time of Ivan IV "The Terrible". The pair is forced to disguise themselves, with Bunsha dressing up as Ivan IV and Miloslavsky as a knyaz of the same name. At the same time, the real Ivan IV (also played by Yuri Yakovlev) is sent by the same machine into Shurik's apartment, he has to deal with modern-day life while Shurik tries to fix the machine so that everyone can be brought back to their proper place in time. Superintendent Bunsha and Tzar Ivan IV the Terrible are lookalikes but have completely different personalities, which results in funny situations of mistaken identity. As the police (tipped off by a neighbor who was burgled by Miloslavsky) close in on Shurik, who is frantically trying to repair the machine, the cover of Bunsha and Miloslavsky is blown and they have to fight off the Streltsy, who have figured out that Bunsha is an impostor. The movie ends with Bunsha, Miloslavsky, and Ivan IV all transported back to their proper places, although the entire episode is revealed to be a dream by Shurik.

On a bus a boor and drunkard named Fedya takes a seat reserved for children and disabled persons and then refuses to let a young pregnant woman sit claiming that "she is neither a child nor handicapped". Shurik, who is riding on the same bus, puts on a pair of sunglasses, and pretends to be visually impaired. When Fedya is urged to let him sit in his seat, Shurik offers the seat to the pregnant woman. Fedya is enraged at being deceived and gets into a fight with Shurik. As a result, Fedya is arrested and sentenced to 15 days of Community service, Russian administrative arrest or simply '15 sutok' (15 days). Ironically, he is sent to serve his term to the same construction site where Shurik works part-time. The manager puts them on the same work crew.
