Alexandre Mitta (en russe : Александр Наумович Митта, de son vrai nom Alexandre Naoumovitch Rabinovitch), né à Moscou (Union des républiques socialistes soviétiques le 28 mars 1933, est un réalisateur, scénariste et acteur soviétique et russe.
En 2001, il reçoit le prix TEFI, dans la catégorie Série-fiction, pour La Frontière : Roman de taïga. L'année suivante il est récompensé par un Nika, pour le scénario du même film.
Il est professeur à l'École du nouveau cinéma de Moscou créée en 2012.
Il est président du jury du festival Kinotavr 2013.

Biography
Il naît dans une famille d'origine juive. À la fin de ses études à l'Université d'État du génie civil de Moscou (MGSU), en 1955, Mitta choisit la carrière de graphiste caricaturiste et collabore avec plusieurs revue littéraires et humoristiques. Parallèlement, il devient élève de Mikhaïl Romm à l'Institut national de la cinématographie et en sort diplômé en 1960. Il prend le pseudonyme de Mitta, nom de famille d'un parent du côté maternel.En 2001, il reçoit le prix TEFI, dans la catégorie Série-fiction, pour La Frontière : Roman de taïga. L'année suivante il est récompensé par un Nika, pour le scénario du même film.
Il est professeur à l'École du nouveau cinéma de Moscou créée en 2012.

The first part of the film concentrates on the personal lives of the air crew, including their problems and relationships. For family reasons, one of the pilots has had to give up a promising career for a much less ambitious one. Despite this, his wife senses that he is not happy, which makes her a conflicted and angry spouse. Though both the parents love their son, it is not enough to prevent them from divorcing. Subsequently, the pilot resumes his career piloting the large passenger planes he had been hankering after. One of his pilot colleagues does not believe in family at all — his flat is full of impressive self-constructed light effects and son et lumière equipment that he uses to impress the parade of women he has one-night stands with.
