Après des études inachevées au Centro sperimentale di cinematografia de Rome, elle débute comme actrice pour le cinéma à l'âge de seize ans. Adriana De Mauro (Sophia Loren) loves Cesar Braggi (Richard Burton), but Cesar, honoring his father's dying wish, allows his brother, Antonio (Ian Bannen), to marry Adriana. As fate wills, Antonio dies in an automobile accident. Adriana's mourning for Antonio ends when Cesar steps in to rekindle her lust of life. Soon, Adriana begins having dizzy spells. Several fashion models are killed by a murderer who poisons a cat's claws with curare. Each victim is given a shawl as a gift, which is laced with a chemical attracting the cat. The first such victim, Paola, had been in a relationship with a blind composer, Peter Oliver (Anthony Steffen) who overhears a conversation he believes may help him track down the killer. Oliver, aided by his butler Burton (Umberto Raho) tracks the cat to its owner Susan (Jeannette Len), who is murdered before she can reveal who has been using the cat. However, the identity of the killer is eventually discovered to be Françoise (Sylva Koscina), the owner of the studio employing the murdered models. Francoise had killed Paola after discovering that her husband Victor (Giacomo Rossi-Stuart) had been having an affair with the young model, and had committed the other murders to help cover up the motive for the first killing.

A mysterious killer is attacking women associated with a blackmail conspiracy. Sabata, a former Confederate army officer and steely eyed, quick-drawing, impossibly accurate gunman with a trick gun, is working for a travelling circus as a stunt marksman. The circus comes to a small Texas town, where a former subordinate officer, a lieutenant from the army is running a crooked casino. The man owes Sabata $5,000 from sometime ago. Then the circus manager runs off with the circus funds, so Sabata decides to stay in town and try to collect on the debt from his friend. Sabata then runs into conflict with the town's land baron, McIntock, who imposes high taxes on gambling, drinking and prostitution with the supposed idea of building the town up, using the money. Sabata, who is after the money himself, finds out that the townspeople's money in McIntock's safe is counterfeit and that he and the priest have hidden it elsewhere, in the form of gold coins. After a few attempts on his life and lots of badmen dying under his guns, Sabata and the lieutenant are apparently killed so McIntock goes for the money, only to find them both still alive. Sabata is helped throughout by his friends; the acrobat, his partner and a fat, pompous man who is anything but what he seems.

Unique actionnaire d’une très grosse firme industrielle, présidé par son père suite au décès de son épouse, Helen Alexander meurt dans l’explosion de sa voiture. Son mari John est d'autant plus vite soupçonné d'avoir tué sa femme, pour devenir son héritier et toucher sa fortune familiale, que le père de la défunte n'a rien touché de l'héritage. Peu de temps avant sa mort, elle a rédigé un testament par lequel elle lègue tout son argent à son mari. Pour oublier la mort d'Helen, John décide de voyager à Londres mais la police de Scotland Yard et Liverpool enquêtent à son sujet. De retour chez lui, une étrange femme, Christine, le drague et le conduit dans une fête hippie.Pour mieux l'attirer dans les lieux, elle lui a subtilisé ses clés de voiture. En fait, la jeune femme a voulu l'amener à voir un film érotique lesbien tourné quelques jours auparavant, dans lequel Christine fait l'amour à une mystérieuse femme masquée surnommée "la Comtesse". D'abord indifférent, John remarque que cette dernière possède une bague en forme de serpent identique à celle que portait Helen. Autre détail qu'il aperçoit : "la Comtesse" porte sur la nuque la même cicatrice que sa défunte femme. Stupéfait, il pense qu'Helen est toujours vivante et il se souvient de sa liaison avec une artiste Liz. Une complicité envahissante à un point tel que John fut très vite délaissé, voire méprisé par son épouse. Intrigué par la fameuse "comtesse", John part à sa recherche.
