Arun Pandian is an Indian film actor, director, producer and politician. He began his career as an actor with the critically acclaimed film Oomai Vizhigal (1986). After retiring from acting, he took over the post as a chief producer for the London-based, Ayngaran International, a film production and distribution company.

Thirupathi is a straight forward young man who leads a happy life with his parents and younger sister. He happens to meet Priya and both fall for each other. Thirupathi’s sister is pregnant and at the time of delivery, he takes her to a hospital. The doctor there expects bribe but when it is not forthcoming, neglects his duty because of which Thirupathi’s sister dies. Thirupathi comes to know that this is not the first instance in the hospital and the doctor is none other than Soori’s brother. When he goes out to get him, Soori and his father do all that they can to protect him from Thirupathi. How Thirupathi gets his revenge on the people responsible for his sister's death forms the rest of the movie.

Rammohan (Harish Raghavendra), after five long years of saying 'no' to getting married, agrees to wed Gowri(Gayatri Raghuram) after seeing her picture. But he gets a shock on his wedding night when Gowri turns out to be the exact opposite of what he has imagined her to be. While he had thought she would be a traditional, homely girl, Gowri turns out to be an ultra-modern gal who even drinks. On the other hand, Kaveri(Uma), who Rammohan hires as his secretary at work, is the kind of woman he wished for as his wife. When the movie opens Devan(Arun Pandiyan) murdering photographer Jeeva(Thalaivasal Vijay) in cold blood in his house. Jeeva strategically positions a video camera to capture the impending murder but Devan never shows his face to it. And when Jeeva shouts out the name of his killer before dying, the audio is lost at that point. While the police search for the killer, Devan zeroes in on Chetta (Saikumar) as his next target. He follows Chetta to Chandigarh but is apprehended by CBI officer Ratnavel(Vijayakanth). But once Ratnavel realises Chetta's true nature, he begins to help Devan, even hiring successful lawyer Chakravarthy(Karthik) to fight for him.
