David Blair Redford (born July 27, 1983) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Tyler "Ty" Mendoza in Switched at Birth, Ethan Whitehorse in The Lying Game and Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald in Passions.

Vie personnelle
Blair Redford a grandi dans une banlieue de Canton en Géorgie et a été scolarisé à Sequoyah High School. Il est d'origine irlandaise, française, allemande et amérindienne.
Il a travaillé plusieurs étés au Festival de la Renaissance en Géorgie faisant des cascades et ayant créé le personnage d'un pirate nommé « Rusty Compass ».

Il est un fervent amateur et joueur de tennis.

Il a refusé des bourses d'études pour la fin du secondaire afin de se consacrer au théâtre.

Il a eu une relation avec le mannequin Jessica Serfaty.


Carrière, vie publique
Blair Redford a débuté avec une victoire à Warner Bros. Une demande ouverte qui lui a accordé un siège en tant que membre de Warner Bros Road Crew. Après environ un an et demi sur les routes avec the Warner Bros Road Crew, il est approché par un découvreur de talents, à Atlanta. Il déménage à Los Angeles. Après un court temps dans cette ville, il décroche le rôle de Scott "Scotty" Grainger Junior dans le feuilleton Les Feux de l'amour ("The Young and the Restless" en anglais) en juillet 2005 et qu'il quittera en février 2006.

Plus tard, David Blair Redford, remplace Adrian Bellani dans le rôle du personnage mexicain "Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald" de 2007 à 2008 dans le feuilleton "Passions" jusqu'à ce que ce feuilleton soit déplacé de NBC, chaine de télévision américaine, à exclusivement Direct TV, autre chaine de télévision américaine, pour sa neuvième et dernière saison.
Redford a également le rôle principal de Nash Rambler dans le film Dance of the Dead un film de zombie en 2008.

Ali Rose (Aguilera) moves to Los Angeles after she quits her bar job when her boss refuses to pay her. Once in L.A., she tries and fails at every audition she does until one night, she finds herself unknowingly in a burlesque club when she hears the music on the street. She finds Tess (Cher) and the dancers performing “Welcome to Burlesque” and decides to pursue a career on stage once she meets Jack (Gigandet). Jack refers her to Tess for an audition, but is rejected instantly and ushered out by Sean (Tucci). Samuel North has returned from college to reunite with his girlfriend Hannah Thompson. On the night he is to have a romantic dinner with her on the banks of a river she does not show up, and he is run into the river by a large white van. His soul goes to Hell, aka "The Pit," where he is tormented by the worst memories of his life, including being bullied, finding his parents murdered, and the regretful taxi ride to college, which took him from Hannah. However, he experiences only a moment of torment before being rescued by other souls who have found a way out. He escapes and wakes up along with the other escapees in a hospital, where he learns that Hannah did not return home the previous night, and he is a suspect for her disappearance. Before he can find out any more, three bounty hunters dispatched from hell to retrieve them appear. Only Sam and two others escape. The duo, Mally and Oz, have both escaped numerous times only to be caught and brought back. They explain that two of the three bounty hunters are "Switchers," who can switch from dead body to body when their host body is killed. However their leader, a "Changer," does not need to change unless into its native demonic form. They escape to a motel filled with escapees, all scarred by the Mark of the Damned, which is how the Reapers track them.
