Brent Stait (born September 9, 1959) is a Canadian actor, best known for his roles as Rev Bem in the science fiction television series Andromeda and Louis Ferretti in Stargate SG-1. He had a supporting role as Roy in Final Destination 5. He was born in Snow Lake, Manitoba.
Though it is commonly said that Stait left Andromeda due to an allergic reaction to the prosthetics his character required, a 2011 interview revealed his departure was motivated by "physical exhaustion" from wearing the full Rev Bem costume.
Stait substituted for the body of Michael Kenmore in his Wraith form in the Stargate Atlantis episode "Allies", though Connor Trinneer continued to provide the voice. Trinneer returned to the full role after this singular episode as shown in "The Kindred (Part 1)".
Stait played DC Comics superhero Dr. Fate in Absolute Justice, movie which takes place inside the events of the ninth season of the Superman television series Smallville. The first live action appearance of the character. In the movie, Fate will be allied with fellow members of the Justice Society and come into conflict (and later align) with the Justice League. Brent Stait received very positive reviews for his portrayal. He is also known for his portrayal of Nigel Ramsey in "The Wrath of Kali," a fourth season episode of Highlander: The Series.

Nate Norman (Jonathan Daniel Brown) lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with his younger brother and their single mom who works multiple jobs to support them. Sam Lawton is on his way to a company retreat with his colleagues. While their bus crosses the North Bay Bridge, Sam has a premonition that the bridge will collapse, killing him and everyone on it, except for his ex-girlfriend Molly Harper, who he gets across the bridge safely. In a panic, he persuades Molly; his friends Nathan Sears and Peter Friedkin; Peter's girlfriend Candice Hooper; his boss Dennis Lapman; and co-workers Olivia Castle and Isaac Palmer to leave the bridge before it collapses, killing the remaining people on it. FBI agent Jim Block does not believe that Sam is responsible for the bridge collapse, but promises to keep his eye on him. At the memorial service, coroner William Bludworth mysteriously tells the survivors that "Death doesn't like to be cheated" and warns them to be careful. Mary Winkler is a housewife and mother of three daughters who is married to Matthew Winkler, a pastor who is admired by many in his community for his friendliness and his views about family values. To many in town the Winklers are seen as a perfect family with Matthew as a perfect husband and wonderful father and Mary as a dutiful wife and mother. However, early one morning at the Winkler's home, a shotgun blast is heard by the Winkler children. Mary takes the children away in the car on a sudden trip, with the children wondering what happened to their father. Concerned neighbors investigate the Winkler home that night, finding Matthew dead in a bedroom with a shotgun wound. Fearing the Winkler family has been kidnapped, the local and state authorities and FBI issues an Amber alert for the Winklers. Eventually a patrol car finds Mary and her children but they also find a shotgun in her car and apprehend Mrs. Winkler. Later the shotgun is identified as the murder weapon. At the station, Mary admits she may have shot her husband, which shocks the community and her parents-in-law. At first Mary refuses to divulge more about the incident and refuses to say anything negative about her husband. But her lawyer convinces her to reveal a darker, hidden side of Matthew.
