Candace Glendenning (born 9 August 1953) is an English actress.
She has also appeared on television in series such as Dixon of Dock Green, The Tyrant King and Ripping Yarns. Possibly her most famous television role was the Blake's 7 episode "Weapon", in which she played the beautiful former bond-slave Rashel. She also played Grand Duchess Maria in the 1971 film Nicholas and Alexandra.

Biography
She remains best known for her work in horror films of the 1970s such as The Flesh and Blood Show, Tower of Evil and Satan's Slave. Known for her great femininity and beauty, these films featured large amounts of nudity from her and several sex scenes. She and Kay Lenz were rumoured to have been offered the part of the possessed girl Regan McNeil in the film The Exorcist. Lenz declined because she was too old, as was Glendenning, and she had already signed to director Jim O'Connolly to film Tower of Evil (1972). The part went to Linda Blair instead.She has also appeared on television in series such as Dixon of Dock Green, The Tyrant King and Ripping Yarns. The story begins with the birth of Tsarevich Alexei on 12 August 1904 during the Russo-Japanese War. Tsar Nicholas (Michael Jayston) is warned by the Prime Minister Count Witte (Laurence Olivier) and his uncle Grand Duke Nicholas (Harry Andrews) that the war is futile and costing too many lives. They tell him the Russian people want representative government, health care, voting and workers' rights, but Nicholas wants to maintain the autocracy. Meanwhile, underground political parties led by Vladimir Lenin (Michael Bryant), Joseph Stalin (James Hazeldine) and Leon Trotsky (Brian Cox) have formed.

Lurcio (Frankie Howerd) becomes the inadvertent possessor of a scroll bearing all the names of the proposed assassins of Nero (Patrick Cargill). The conspirators need to recover the scroll fast, but it has fallen into the hands of Lurcio's master, Ludicrus Sextus (Michael Hordern) who mistakenly reads the contents of the scroll to the Senate. Farcical attempts are made to retrieve the scroll before Pompeii is eventually consumed by the erupting Vesuvius.
