Candice "Candy" Azzara (born May 18, 1945) is an American character actress frequently cast in Italian or Jewish roles.
Azzara was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Josephine (née Bravo) and Samuel Azzara. She was inspired to pursue acting by the film La Strada and theatre legend Eleonora Duse. She studied with Lee Strasberg and Gene Frankel and soon began appearing off-Broadway and in regional theatres.
Billed as Candy Azzara, she made her Broadway debut in Lovers and Other Strangers in 1968. Additional stage credits include Jake's Women, Cactus Flower, Any Wednesday, Barefoot in the Park, and The Moon Is Blue.
Azzara was cast as Gloria in the second pilot of All in the Family when it was titled "Those Were the Days" and the family name was Justice instead of Bunker. She was a regular on the sitcom Calucci's Department and had recurring roles on Caroline in the City, Who's the Boss?,Love Boat, Soap, and Rhoda. She has guested on numerous series, including Diff'rent Strokes, The Practice, Kojak, Barney Miller (as a manicurist, in Season 2 Episode 3), Trapper John, M.D., L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, ER, Married... with Children (1992) and Joan of Arcadia.
On screen Azzara has appeared in In Her Shoes, Ocean's Twelve, Catch Me If You Can, Easy Money, House Calls, Unstrung Heroes, Pandemonium, Fatso, and Made for Each Other.

The story centers on a 7-year-old boy, Pepper Flynt Busbee (Jakob Salvati), who is devastated when his father enlists in the army during World War II. The title is a reference to Little Boy, the code name for the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima as well as a reference to Pepper's height. Pepper has an extremely close relationship with his loving father. It begins from the very moment he is born when his father cradles him in his arms and mentions how small he is. When Pepper is examined by a doctor the physician is asked if the child is a midget. However, the doctor says that the term is offensive and suggests that he is just a "little boy." However, when World War II begins, Pepper's older brother is declared ineligible for military service because of flat feet and his father joins in his place. Not long after his father leaves for war, Pepper hears the Bible verse, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move" (Mt. 17:20), he becomes determined to get enough faith to bring his father home. Nevertheless, as his friend and mentor Father Oliver tells him, faith is useless to anyone who harbors hatred. The film highlights the tremendous hatred against Japanese-Americans that was rampant in America at this time. Father Oliver tells Pepper to befriend a Japanese man named Hashimoto. At first, the racism Pepper has internalized from society makes him hesitant to follow this advice, but as he gets to know Hashimoto, he begins to value their friendship and learns from Hashimoto to stand up to those who bully him about his height. The plot then takes a turn when Pepper's father is reported missing in action. Pepper's mother (Emily Watson) struggles to keep her family together in the face of these overwhelming hardships.

Maggie (Cameron Diaz) and Rose Feller (Toni Collette) are sisters with nothing in common but their shoe size. They were raised by their father Michael (Ken Howard) and stepmother (Candice Azzara) after their mother Caroline died, supposedly in a car accident. Rose is the eldest; an ostensibly plain and serious lawyer who is protective of Maggie despite her flaws. Terry Benedict (Andy García) locates all eleven members of Danny Ocean's (George Clooney) gang, demanding they return the $160 million they stole from his casinos plus $38 million interest. Short by half, the group schemes to stage another heist in Europe to avoid problems with United States authorities. They are tipped off by an informant named Matsui (Robbie Coltrane) about the location of the first stock certificate ever.
