Chandan Kumar mononymously known as 'Chandan', is an Indian actor who works in television and Kannada cinema. He is known for his work in the television soap opera Radha Kalyana and later Lakshmi Baramma, in which he played the role of Chandu, that was aired on Colors Kannada from 2012. During the time, he was offered several films for which he had to step out of the serial mid-way. His first film to be released was Parinaya in 2014 which took two years in the making. Subsequently he starred in few low-budget films until he got his break in the multi-starrer film, Luv U Alia (2015) directed by Indrajit Lankesh.

Apart from serials and films, Chandan has been contestant for the reality shows such as Pyate Mandi Kadige Hodru and Bigg Boss Kannada 3.

Vishal (Diganth) is a carefree youngster who is only serious about pursuing a career in music. In contrast, his friend Shivakumar "Shivu" (Sathish Ninasam) is serious about life and advises him to reform. But Vishal, whose parents allow him a lot of freedom, finds his own way to deal with hook ups. He falls in love with his collegemate, Nandini (Sindhu Loknath), who also falls in love with him. After a brief period of courtship, they decide to get married. Nandini wants Vishal to take up a job as it will help her discuss the marriage proposal with her father. He thinks she is the one for him, but only till the point where he has to choose between his music career and her, at which point they break up.

The film is about a spoiled rich kid, Ajay (Rajkumar Gupta), who is a problem child and is sent away to a boarding school by his grandfather. The board school is run by Shekhar (Abhi Bhattacharya). Shekhar tries to instill good values in the students using unorthodox teaching methods. He gains the students' trust and educates them about the heritage of their country and encourages them to become model citizens.
