Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni is an American actress, musician, and artist.
She was born February 21, 1971 in Manhattan; she and her parents moved to Rome, Italy when she was four years old. Around that time, she began performing on stage in various plays and opera through her childhood in Italy and abroad.
Acting career
Her first movie role was playing the snotty, not-so-sweet sixteen, birthday girl Sally, who turns into a demon in Dèmoni 2 (1986) (Demons 2 outside of Italy), which she landed courtesy of the famed director Dario Argento, who served as one of the producers. She also worked with Argento again shortly afterwords in a minor role in Opera (1987) playing the seamstress Giulia, as well as another small role in the Argento re-telling of Fantasma dell'opera, Il (1998) (The Phantom of the Opera), which starred Julian Sands and Asia Argento.
In between Opera and The Phantom of the Opera, Coralina co-hosted, with Dario Argento, the short-lived Giallo TV show, which appeared on Italian television. She also worked with director Luciano Odorsio in Sacrilege (1986) and appeared in Fabrizio Laurenti's Room Next Door, Pupi Avati's The Childhood Friend, and Andrea Marfori's Evil Clutch.
She has appeared in various TV productions in Italy, and on stage in several theater productions in both Italy and America, including Grease and an adaptation of Ed Wood's Bride and the Beast.
Cataldi-Tassoni played a role in the Italian giallo Hidden, produced and directed by Mariano Baino, it was the first Italian film shot in 3D.
Music career
She is also an accomplished painter and singer. In 2002, she released her first CD album titled Limbo Balloon which is made up of original music which she wrote and sang.

The film begins with members of the Catholic Church digging up the body of a 19th-century church official, whose casket has a box-shaped urn chained to it. Stacey and Mark have recently married and are deeply in love for each other, living in Mark's farm in South Africa. In Paris 1877 a pack of rats save an abandoned baby from a basket that was flowing along a river. They raise him in the underground of the Opéra de Paris. This child becomes the Phantom of the Opera, a misanthrope who kills anyone who ventures into his underground chambers, just as rats are killed whenever they venture above ground. The film centers around young, insecure opera singer Betty (Cristina Marsillach). After the lead in Verdi's Macbeth is injured in a car accident, Betty is reluctantly thrust into the role in the opera. During her first performance, a murder takes place in one of the opera boxes. Mysterious murders continue throughout the film as Betty is stalked and those around her meet their unfortunate end. The killer binds and places tape under Betty's eyelids with needles attached so she is unable to blink, and therefore forced to watch as the murders take place. Meanwhile, Betty continues to have frightening dreams involving a masked person and her mother. During the final performance of the opera the killer is revealed, and Betty must confront her past in a terrifying climax.

The film opens as if the events of the first film took place in reality, but this is actually a film within a film, that the various residents of a high-rise apartment building are watching. Its story follows several teens trespass into a city that was deserted as a result of the outbreak.
