Dana W. Gonzales (born November 18, 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is an American cinematographer.
He is noted for his work on the feature films Man in the Chair (2007), Felon (2008) and Down for Life (2010) and among other films.
His television work includes NYPD Blue, Southland and Pretty Little Liars, he made his directorial debut on the latter series in 2011.
Gonzales was also the "A" camera operator and 2nd Unit Director of Photography on the Academy Award winning film for best picture Crash.
Gonzales was the Director of Photography on the music video "We Are the World 25 for Haiti" shot in 3D and directed by Paul Haggis.

On Fat Tuesday in New Orleans, the ferry Sen. Alvin T. Stumpf is carrying hundreds of U.S. Navy sailors and their families across the Mississippi River from their base to the city. Suddenly, the ferry explodes and sinks, killing 543 passengers and crew. Special Agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington) from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF) is sent to investigate and discovers evidence of a bomb planted by a domestic terrorist. Arriving at the scene he hears his unique ring tone coming from a nearby body bag. He then meets with local investigators and FBI Special Agent Paul Pryzwarra (Val Kilmer), and informs them of his findings. He later learns about a charred body pulled from the river, identified as Claire Kuchever (Paula Patton). Unlike the other bodies from the ferry, though, this one appears to have been killed before the explosion.

In Houston, 1913, nine-year-old Howard Hughes is warned by his mother of the diseases to which she is afraid he will succumb. Fourteen years later, he begins to direct the movie Hell’s Angels. However, after the release of The Jazz Singer, the first partially talking film, Hughes becomes obsessed with shooting his film realistically, and decides to convert the movie to a sound film.
