Daniel Fathers (born 23 March 1966) is an English actor known for portraying Brown Cessario in the film Camp Rock and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam alongside American actress Demi Lovato. And he has played a little role in the popular series of Heartland (Season 3 episode 1). He is also the host of Canada's Greatest Know-It-All. Fathers also starred as philanthropist Calvin Baker in Canadian TV show Murdoch Mysteries.

One year after the events of the first film, Mitchie Torres and her mother Connie are going to Camp Rock for another summer camp year. When they arrived at Camp Rock, Mitchie reunites with her camp friends, Caitlyn, Ella, Peggy and Tess. Meanwhile, Shane Gray and his brothers Nate and Jason are lost in the road when their Connect 3 tour bus broke down and crashed into the bottom of the lake, as they heading to Camp Rock. Back at Camp Rock, Mitchie and her friends, along with Mitchie's other friends Sander and Barry performs ("Brand New Day"), until Shane and his brothers arrives in a farm truck. Mitchie and Shane decides to spend the summer at the camp together and they know each other better.

In the small town of Pontypool, Ontario, former shock jock turned radio announcer Grant Mazzy drives through a blizzard on his way to work. When poor visibility forces him to stop his car, an underdressed woman appears on the road, startling him. Grant calls out to her, but she disappears into the storm, ominously repeating his words and visibly disturbing him. The movie is told through various points of view in a semi-documentary. Generosa (Poppy Montgomery) is a struggling artist who sells real estate, and one day, when client Ted (David Sutcliffe) fails to show up, she goes over to confront him. They soon fall in love, get married and are happy for several years during which time they adopt twin orphans: Alexa Ammon (Aislinn Paul) and Greg Ammon (Munro Chambers). Whether a result of being a mother or from an organic or drug-induced biochemical imbalance, Generosa becomes increasingly paranoid accusing Ted of, among other indiscretions, adultery. Her erratic behavior tears the marriage apart, thereby unleashing a very contentious divorce procedure with Generosa demanding custody of the twins, ownership of their house in the Hamptons and, if possible, all of Ted's wealth. She even resorts to lying to the children about Ted in an attempt to turn them against him.

When a rock band at the top of their game suddenly loses their band leader/bass player, their musical direction becomes questionable. All the band members know is that the leader's clothes were found at the edge of a waterfront and he has not been seen since. To replace their missing leader, they hire a new bassist Natalie (Alicia Silverstone), who shakes up their thoughts of the band. But the biggest changes come when the band decides to go into seclusion to develop new songs and a new sound. They rent a mansion from an aristocratic couple (Peter O'Toole, Joan Plowright) (Lord and Lady Foxley) who are in need of money. When the staff hired to be on hand when the band arrives do not show, the couple decides to act as the butler, Benson, and the cook, Margaret. The obvious conflicts between the two cultures occur, but a respect for each other gradually follows. Meanwhile, the band's recording company is trying to trick them into signing a contract that obliges them to make the music as the company requires, denying their "creative control." Towards the end of the film, the status quo gets further shaken when the original band leader shows up and admits that his disappearance had been a planned publicity stunt.
