Dany Saval (born Danielle Nadine Suzanne Savalle on January 5, 1942 in Paris, France) is a former French actress.

Her career flourished during the 1950s and 1960s. Best known in America as one of a trio of airline stewardesses being shuffled around by Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis in the slapstick comedy Boeing Boeing in which she played alongside Thelma Ritter, Christiane Schmidtmer and Suzanna Leigh.

Dany Saval retired from the movie and entertainment business in the late 1980s. She has a daughter named Stephanie Jarre (daughter of Maurice Jarre, her first husband), and currently resides in Paris with her second husband, Michel Drucker.

Biography

Carrière
Elle débute comme danseuse au Moulin Rouge, puis fait de la figuration au cinéma. Son premier rôle est dans Les Tricheurs de Marcel Carné. Pendant 10 ans elle vit aux États Unis à Los Angeles, sous contrat chez Disney.
Elle se retire du monde du cinéma et du spectacle en 1987, après sa participation à la série télévisée La Baleine blanche, pour se consacrer à sa vie de famille et aux animaux..


Vie privée
Elle se marie en premières noces avec Roger Chaland le 4 octobre 1958, puis avec le compositeur Maurice Jarre en 1965 — avec qui elle a eu une fille prénommée Stéphanie, née en 1966. En 1973, elle épouse l'animateur et journaliste Michel Drucker.
