Albert David Hedison, Jr. (born May 20, 1927) is an American film, television, and stage actor. He was billed as Al Hedison in his early film work. In 1959, when he was cast in the role of Victor Sebastian in the short-lived espionage television series Five Fingers, NBC insisted that he change his name. He proposed that he use his middle name and he has been known as David Hedison ever since. He is known for his role as Captain Lee Crane in Irwin Allen's TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and as CIA agent Felix Leiter in two James Bond films, Live and Let Die and Licence To Kill.

He and his wife Bridget were married in London on June 29, 1968, and they had two adult children, actress/director/photographer Alexandra Hedison and editor/producer Serena Hedison. Stone Alexander is a quiet boy of about 7 years of age, whose mother has just given birth to his younger brother, David. Stuart Davis (David Hedison), running against the Vice-President, plans a trip to the Balkans to negotiate the release of American servicemen being held hostage by terrorists. Before he leaves, he receives a disk documenting evidence that the Vice-President has been trying to revive the American economy by causing a war in the Balkans. He announces his plans at Washington Dulles International Airport to show it to both sides in the hopes of ending the situation. He boards Concorde flight 209 to Paris along with some Air Force Officers and news employees. Unexpected Secret Service agents turn up and board the Concorde. After takeoff, the secret service agents led by Barry Rogers (Michael Dorn) shoot an Air Force officer and his men hijack the Concorde in mid-flight. Rogers takes Stuart Davis and the others hostage and forces him to hand over the disk in order to prevent the war being averted. In the cockpit, Rogers announces to the Dulles International Airport air traffic controller that the agents are armed with a nuclear device and threaten to crash the Concorde into Paris.

Warsaw's liberation allies is actually a terrorist organization under the banner of a revolution and in order to show their strength, they prepare to create a bombing incident when the US business delegates visit Hong Kong to achieve their political objectives. The CIA finds clues and sends Detective Gary Redner (Peter Lapis) to Hong Kong to prevent this conspiracy. Due to the matter of politics, Hong Kong's political department also sends Inspector Lee Ting-bong (Danny Lee) to assist Redner in the operation. The two cops from different environment were incompatible working together at first, but they gradually produced a profound friendship and they work together to shatter the terrorists' attempt to create an explosion and wounded Hannibal (Vernon G. Wells), the leader of the organization. However, thing are not over yet, as Hannibal breaks into the television news department and takes all the staff hostage including Lee's girlfriend Ann (Rosamund Kwan) and prepares to create a bloodshed to be broadcast throughout the world. At this time, Lee and Redner arrives, only to find that Lee's assistant Tang (Tommy Wong) has been bribed by the terrorists and holds them at gunpoint.

DEA agents collect James Bond—MI6 agent 007—and his friend, now DEA agent Felix Leiter, on their way to Leiter's wedding in Key West, to have them assist in capturing drugs lord Franz Sanchez. Three MI6 agents, including one "on loan" to the American government, are killed under mysterious circumstances within 24 hours of each other in the United Nations, New Orleans and a small Caribbean island, San Monique, respectively, while monitoring the operations of Dr. Kananga, the island's dictator. James Bond, agent 007, is sent to New York City to investigate the first murder. Kananga is also in New York, visiting the United Nations. Just after Bond arrives, his driver is shot dead by Whisper, one of Kananga's men, while taking Bond to meet Felix Leiter of the CIA. Bond is nearly killed in the ensuing car crash.
