Dean Cochran (born March 18, 1969), is an American film actor.
Cochran was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. A graduate of Tulane University, he began his acting career in college, earning his Screen Actors Guild card in the film Blue Sky, for which Jessica Lange won an Oscar. While at Tulane, Cochran competed in and won an international acting competition where he was discovered by talent manager Al Onorato.
Cochran has performed the lead roles in a number of plays written by William Shakespeare, including Macbeth, Henry V, Hamlet, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, as well as A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Burn This.
After moving to Los Angeles, Cochran guest starred in various network television series roles. In 2007 Cochran began a recurring role in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Detective Troy Scott, and in 2008 landed one of the starring roles in Meet the Spartans where he spoofs Rocky Balboa and Rambo.
He is married to former Miss USA Brandi Sherwood.

The film opens with a Spartan elder inspecting an ugly, talking baby (an ogre from Shrek the Third); it is abandoned to die for its deformity. A second baby, who is Vietnamese, is adopted by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Baby Leonidas is then inspected, having a six-pack, biceps and beard from birth. He is accepted as a Spartan and prepared for kinghood through his childhood training, from fighting his grandmother to enduring torture (a la Casino Royale). Leonidas (Sean Maguire) is then cast out into the wild, and survives the harsh winter and a gangsta penguin (Happy Feet). Returning a king for his inauguration wearing a penguin skin hat, Leonidas sees Margo (Carmen Electra) erotically dancing and asks her to marry him, to which she responds by giving him the combination to her chastity belt.

Stu Shepard (Colin Farrell) is an arrogant New York City publicist who has been courting a woman named Pam (Katie Holmes) behind his wife Kelly (Radha Mitchell). He uses the last remaining public phone booth in the city to contact Pam. During the call, he is interrupted by a pizza delivery man, who attempts to deliver a free pizza to him, but Stu rudely turns him away by insulting his weight. As soon as Stu completes his call to Pam, the phone rings.
