Deepika Kamaiah is an Indian model turned film actress. She has appeared in South Indian films in addition to Bollywood films. Kamaiah has been a finalist of Femina Miss India. She took part in Bigg Boss Kannada in the second season. She is an alumnus of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bangalore and completed her B.com from Bishop Cotton Women's Cristian College in 2009. Her mother is a school teacher and teaches Kannada.

Moneykandan (Vaibhav) is an IT guy who spells his name as 'Money (numerology) and like his name money is an important driving force in his life, as he dreams of getting his sister married and make his mother happy. He has a loving girlfriend Meera (Ramya Nambeesan) and life seems to be one big party for him. However his life takes a U -turn when he gets suddenly fired from his job. Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is raised by his mother, Savitri (Padmini Kolhapure), who hopes that her son will grow up to be a brave Inspector. But Vishwas wants to become an actor. Dressed as a Police Inspector for a photo shoot, he meets social worker Kajal (Ileana D'Cruz) during a car chase. Kajal mistakes him as an inspector and thanks him for helping her catch the goons, while Vishwas plays along. He is mistakenly published in the newspaper as an Inspector, which Savitri sees. She arrives in Mumbai to see her dream come true, and circumstances lead Vishwas to carry on his lie not only to Kajal, but also to his mother.
