Biography
Dimitri Rataud est reçu au Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique de Paris en 1994, dans les classes de Daniel Mesguich, Jacques Nichet et Jacques Lassalle. Il se fait connaître peu après sa sortie du Conservatoire, grâce à Chaos debout aux côtés d'Anouk Grinberg. Depuis, il rencontre d'autres succès, comme Cyrano de Bergerac de Jacques Weber, Coriolan de Christian Schiaretti (Molière du meilleur spectacle 2009), Par-dessus bord (grand prix du Brigadier 2010) ou Le Donneur de bain au théâtre Marigny avec Charles Berling et Barbara Schulz.Au cinéma il est pré-nominé aux Césars 2003 pour son premier film Maléfique d'Éric Valette, aux côtés de Clovis Cornillac. After a successful heist, Franck Adrien and his partner are convicted and sent to prison. Adrien is the only one who knows the location of the stash, and he refuses to tell both his wife and his partner. However, despite his initially aloof relationship with Jean-Louis Maurel, Adrien comes to trust his cellmate and saves him from a savage beating by Russian mobsters. 27 octobre 2005, Clichy-sous-Bois. Des jeunes disputent une partie de foot sur un terrain de sport. Quelques heures plus tard, à la nuit tombée, l'un d'eux, Muhittin Altun, erre, grièvement brûlé, en bordure du quartier. L'adolescent, âgé de 17 ans, est le seul rescapé d'une course-poursuite qui l'a conduit, ainsi que deux de ses camarades pourchassés par la police, à trouver refuge dans l'enceinte d'un transformateur électrique. Anthony Zimmer is a genius career criminal wanted by police around the world. François (Bernard Campan) is a bored office worker with health problems. He visits a brothel and claiming to have won the lottery and millions of euros, he propositions Daniela (Monica Bellucci), one of the prostitutes to live with him for the sum of 100,000 euros a month until his money runs out. She accepts. François' first doctor, André, is worried that Daniela's volcanic sexuality will cause François' heart to give out. The next day she takes François to beach and he loves that fresh air. They both starts running with hands wide out and cheering in joy. Then they both involve in sex inside François's car. That night André inquires them and finds their sexual activity that evening. Then André gives a moving speech about an idealistic and unrequited love he has for a nurse who later became his patient. Later, when Daniela suffers food poisoning and André is summoned to treat her, when she undresses he suffers a stroke and dies. At the funeral, François learns that André's nurse/patient/girlfriend had died some years before. The arrangement between Daniela and François seems to work for a little while until Daniela's former lover, Charly (Gérard Depardieu) demands money to allow the relationship to continue. François refuses and Daniela resumes being with Charly. While Daniela is having sex with Charly, she realizes she has really fallen in love with François who has meanwhile, started an affair with his next-door neighbor. The film concludes with a surreal pastiche of fantasy and conjecture which begins with François admitting that he never won the lottery.

The protagonist, Lolita Cassard, lacks confidence and self-esteem because she doesn't look like the women who fill the pages of fashion magazines. Her father, Étienne Cassard, is a respected novelist, but rarely considers the feelings of others, only thinking of himself and worrying about aging. Pierre Millet, a younger writer, doubts he will ever be successful. Meanwhile, Sylvia Millet, a singing teacher, believes in her husband's talent, but doubts her own and that of her student, Lolita. When Sylvia discovers that Lolita is the daughter of Étienne, an author whom she admires, she befriends Lolita in order to gain access to Étienne for her husband's sake. Lolita does not believe or see that Sylvia is just another person being generous to her because her father is famous. She begins to confide in Sylvia about her father, love life, and self-confidence issues. Sylvia surprisingly takes a liking to Lolita and begins to see Étienne for the man he really is. Throughout the film Sébastien, a young journalist, befriends Lolita. He is the only one with pure intents, even after he finds out who her father is. He takes a liking to Lolita, but she refuses to show any interests and is only infatuated with another boy, Mathieu. Mathieu is everything Sébastien is not. Mathieu only has interest for Lolita because of her father and mistreats her. Lolita casts all of these same behaviors on Sébastien and does not realize that he truly does like her for herself. After a crazy weekend at Étienne's cottage, Sylvia leaves Pierre because he has become just like Étienne, Lolita goes after Sébastien because she realizes he has honest intentions, and Étienne is repeatedly reminded that he is an indifferent father to Lolita.
