Dino Galvani was an Italian actor was born Dino Galvanoni on 27 October 1890 in Milan, Italy and died 14 September 1960, aged 69 in London, England, UK who appeared in a number of British films.

A descendant of Aloisio Galvani, a famous anatomist, he was educated in Italy and intended for the priesthood. However he settled on the stage and made his debut in 1902 at the Teatro Verdi in Milan and his debut in films in Italy was in 1908. He later acted on the stage in England and in South Africa.

In the BBC radio programme ITMA, from series 4 to series 8, he played the role of Tommy Handley's Italian secretary Signor So-So.

A cleverly planned escape attempt, which seemed guaranteed to work, ends in disaster: the would-be escapee is caught and killed by sadistic Capitano Benucci (Peter Arne) within seconds of leaving the POW camp. This incident is witnessed by the other prisoners, who notice that Benucci seemed to be waiting for the escapee to arrive before shooting him dead in cold blood.

Deborah and Charles, very much in love, are young executives at the successful Pontifex Advertising Agency. Deborah is highly sought after as a brilliant TV executive, while Charles is regarded as thoroughly efficient. The Pontifex board of directors however, will not allow any married women on their staff. Charles’ fiancée Deborah worries about her future with the company. Eventually the company reverses their policy, enabling newly-wed Deborah to continue working. When Deborah wins a lucrative advertising campaign in New York, and Charles seems to be overlooked for a promotion he was confident would be his, Charles feels his masculinity threatened. Whilst Deb is away in New York, Charles becomes involved in a flirtatious relationship with his attractive secretary Pauline.

Before a major motor race in Italy a man is hired by a British racing team to headhunt the designer of a rival team. However, when he fails, he attempts to steal the team's designs instead. When he is disturbed in the middle of the theft, he is forced to shoot his way out, killing five people. Joanna Dane (Maureen O'Hara) is sent to Tangiers to get information on, and close down, an international smuggling ring. The film takes place almost entirely on a train travelling between Paris and Trieste in post-war Europe.
