Don "D.C." Curry (born September 7, 1961) is an African-American actor and stand-up comedian. He is best known for starring as Craig's sex-crazed Uncle Elroy Jones in Next Friday and Friday After Next and for his role on the sitcom Grace Under Fire. Curry was also featured in The Boondocks episode, The Color Rucks, in which he voice acts Uncle Ruckus' Caucasian-hating adoptive father. He also hosted 2013 BET's Comic View. Curry got his first start on BET's Comic View.
Curry's father is a pastor emeritus at a missionary church. Curry's mother died in 2005.

The movie begins when a robber (Rickey Smiley), disguised as Santa Claus, breaks into Craig (Ice Cube) and Day-Day's (Mike Epps) house at 3:37 AM on Christmas Eve. Craig fights with the robber, trashing their apartment while making frantic, futile attempts to wake Day-Day. The robber escapes with Craig and Day-Day's Christmas presents and rent money. The same morning, the police come over to get a report.

After a fight between Craig (Ice Cube) and the neighborhood bully Deebo (Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr.), rumor spreads that Deebo will be breaking out of jail soon and will come looking for Craig. As a result, Craig's father, Willie (Witherspoon), decides to have him stay with his uncle Elroy (Don Curry), and cousin Day-Day (Mike Epps) in Rancho Cucamonga.
