Dragoş Bucur (born 13 June 1977) is a Romanian actor, ambassador for the program Youth of the Move involved by the European Commission, and TV presenter for the show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Visuri la cheie broadcast on Pro TV.
Dragoş Bucur received the Shooting Stars Award, the annual acting award for up-and-coming actors by European Film Promotion, at the Berlin International Film Festival 2010.
He holds an acting degree from Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest, Romania. He became known through his roles in "Police, Adjective" elogiated by The Washington Post, "The Way Back", or "Boogie", The Guardian notes about Dragoş character : "Dragoş plays Bogdan or "Boogie", a hardworking guy who has been prevailed upon to take his partner Smaranda (Anamaria Marinca) and their child to the seaside." Also he stars in "The Paper Will Be Blue" and many more productions.
Apart from being an actor he has also hosted several Romanian TV shows like "Jurnal de călătorie", "Faci Pariu?", "Marfă", "Câştigi fără să ştii", etc..

On his spring break at the seaside, with his wife and his four-year-old son, Bogdan Ciocăzanu (a.k.a. Boogie) runs into his best friends from high-school at the precise date and time that reminds all of them of their most glorious drinking trips and sexual escapades of their younger days. The film opens in 1938. Dominic Matei (Tim Roth), is a 70-year-old professor of linguistics. On the eve of World War II, Dominic attempts to visit the Café Select but is denied access due to wearing his pyjamas. Dominic realises that he is getting no younger, and has essentially failed his aim in life – to fully discover the origin of human language. His tireless labours have condemned him to a solitary existence, often spent pining after Laura (Alexandra Maria Lara), the love of his youth. Intent on committing suicide, Dominic travels to Bucharest, the city where he and Laura met at university. He is struck by lightning. In hospital, he is initially diagnosed by Professor Stanciulescu (Bruno Ganz) to be dying of his burns. However, Stanciulescu is startled when his patient regenerates into a much younger man. The Professor helps Dominic out of the hospital so as to continue studying him. Shortly afterwards, Romania is occupied by the Nazis, whose interests are aroused by Stanciulescu’s miracle patient.

Modesty Blaise is working as a croupier in a casino in Tangier. A group of violent criminals assassinate her employer and enter the casino shooting staff and demanding entry to the casino's safe. Modesty delays her retaliation and retribution as she protects the lives of her staff. When the criminals kill the only person who can open the safe, Modesty arranges for a fellow employee to arrive who has the password for the computer that holds the details of the entry to the vault. As the criminals and their captives await the individual, Modesty takes on the leader of the criminals at the game of roulette. They agree that if she wins twice in a row a captive sworn to not tell what happened is released; when she loses she has to tell the truth about her background to the leader of the criminals who has become fascinated by her. She relates her life story little by little in the manner of Scheherazade.
