Dustin Neil Diamond (born January 7, 1977) is an American actor, musician, director, and stand-up comedian best known for his role as Samuel "Screech" Powers in the television shows Saved by the Bell, Good Morning, Miss Bliss, Saved by the Bell: The College Years and Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
He reportedly married longtime girlfriend Jennifer Misner in 2009, though the two have since separated.
On December 26, 2014, Diamond was arrested in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, for possession of a switchblade knife, which he was alleged to have pulled during a bar altercation in which a man was stabbed. Amanda Schutz, his fiancée, also faces a charge of disorderly conduct in relation to the incident. On May 29, 2015, Diamond was convicted of two misdemeanors, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. He was cleared of the most serious charge, recklessly endangering public safety. On June 25, 2015, Diamond was sentenced to four months in prison.

The story takes place at East Great Falls High, ten years after the events of American Pie. Cody Weever (played by Chad Eschman) grew up a child who loved films and yearned to make one with the help of his doting grandfather Alexander Weever (Ron Crawford), a former Hollywood star. His mother (Diane Tasca), an irascible self-made billionaire, refuses to fund Cody's project, leaving him resentful yet determined. The film begins as an autobiographical look at Shore's early professional successes on MTV and as the star of a series of 90s comedies. Jason Shepherd is a 14-year-old chronic liar living in the fictional town of Greenbury, Michigan who is constantly deceiving and misleading his way out of trouble. Jason tries to get out of writing his 1000 word essay by making up a lie, but he gets caught by his English teacher, Ms. Phyllis Caldwell, who alerts his parents, Harry and Carol Shepherd. Jason is given three hours to submit his paper, otherwise he will fail English and go to summer school. In a rush to turn in his paper, Jason accidentally forgets his report in the limousine of Marty Wolf, who gave him a ride to the community college to turn in his paper after Jason is hit by the limo. Wolf initially attempts to give the essay back to Jason, but when Wolf sees that Jason's story is excellent, it inspires him, and he decides to keep it for himself.

The night before their flight to Paris for a Christmas holiday, the McCallister family gather at the Winnetka, Illinois home of Peter (John Heard) and Kate (Catherine O'Hara) McCallister. Once in Paris, Peter and Kate try to book a flight home, but all the flights are booked for the next two days. The clerks put Kate on standby for any possible seat opening. The rest of the family goes to Peter's brother's home in Paris, and Kevin's siblings and cousins are crushed by empathy for their abuse toward Kevin.
