Eddie Nestor (born Edward Augustus Matthew Christopher Nestor; 5 June 1964, although his claim to be about to turn 30 years old is a running joke on his radio programmes) is a British actor, stand up comedian, TV and radio presenter, who is best known for his starring roles in The Real McCoy and Desmonds, as well as playing a small role in Trainspotting.
He hosted alongside Robbie Gee the Imperial College Indian Society's annual "East Meets West" charity show in 2007 and 2008. The show in both years was one of the most successful and popular charity shows in the UK, drawing over 1750 people to the prestigious London Palladium in 2008.
He was most recently seen in the BBC's Canterbury Tales and is a former Casualty star. He currently presents BBC London 94.9 FM's show Drivetime from 5pm to 7pm on weekday evenings, replacing Henry Bonsu who left to pursue other broadcasting opportunities. He previously presented a show on BBC London on Friday evenings, from 10pm to 2am, that he called The Rum Shop.
Although raised in Hackney London, Eddie is a Manchester United supporter and presents a Manchester United podcast, The Manchester United Red Cast with Robert Meakin

He was voted The Speech Broadcaster of the Year at the Sony Radio Academy Awards 2007
In February 2007, Eddie was diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and kept a blog of his treatment and reactions. He is currently in remission.

In the deep jungles of darkest Peru, a British geographer named Montgomery Clyde happens upon a previously unknown species of bear. Five men, criminals Ray, Dave, Stevie, Julian ("Julie" as a nickname), and Jason, plan a heist to steal a minimum of £2 million. Using a truck modified as a battering ram, the group break into a security depot in London and steal a large amount of money before the police arrive. However, they discover they barely got the amount of money they wanted, and only £65,000 to each man. Julian demands an extra amount of money as "expenses" for his work, but is beaten and placed in the boot of Ray's car until he just accepts his share. The group, without Julian, later spend time at a bar with fellow criminal Sonny, and Ray's girlfriend Connie, a protestor. Ray and Stevie also visit an elderly couple, Linda and Bill, where they leave their stolen money for safekeeping.
