Yekaterina Sergeyevna Vasilyeva (Russian: Екатерина Серге́евна Васильева; born 15 August 1945 in Moscow) is a Russian actress. She performed in more than ninety films since 1967.
Ekaterina Vassilieva fait ses études à l'Institut national de la cinématographie. Diplômée en 1962, elle devient actrice du Théâtre dramatique Maria Iermolova, puis, en 1970 du Théâtre Sovremennik, qu'elle quitte en 1973, pour le Théâtre d'art de Moscou. Sa carrière cinématographique commence alors qu'elle est encore étudiante et compte en tout plus d'une centaine de films.
En 1993, Vassilieva abandonne la scène et le cinéma et devient bonne sœur au couvent du Monastère de Tolga. Elle reprend son travail de comédienne en 1996.
Vie privée
Vassilieva était mariée avec le réalisateur Sergueï Soloviov, puis, avec le dramaturge Mikhaïl Rochtchine dont elle a un fils, Dmitri Rochtchine, né en 1973.

Le père de la comédienne Sergueï Vassiliev (1911-1975) est un poète et parolier, sa mère Olympiada Makarenko est la nièce d'illustre pédagogue russe Anton Makarenko.Ekaterina Vassilieva fait ses études à l'Institut national de la cinématographie. Diplômée en 1962, elle devient actrice du Théâtre dramatique Maria Iermolova, puis, en 1970 du Théâtre Sovremennik, qu'elle quitte en 1973, pour le Théâtre d'art de Moscou. Sa carrière cinématographique commence alors qu'elle est encore étudiante et compte en tout plus d'une centaine de films.

Ivan Puhov (A. Abdulov) is in love with a very kind and friendly girl, Alyona (A. Yakovleva). The first part of the film concentrates on the personal lives of the air crew, including their problems and relationships. For family reasons, one of the pilots has had to give up a promising career for a much less ambitious one. Despite this, his wife senses that he is not happy, which makes her a conflicted and angry spouse. Though both the parents love their son, it is not enough to prevent them from divorcing. Subsequently, the pilot resumes his career piloting the large passenger planes he had been hankering after. One of his pilot colleagues does not believe in family at all — his flat is full of impressive self-constructed light effects and son et lumière equipment that he uses to impress the parade of women he has one-night stands with.
