Elizabeth Mitchell (born March 27, 1970), is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Dr. Juliet Burke on the ABC TV series Lost, and also had lead roles on the TV series V and Revolution, and recurred as the Snow Queen in Once Upon A Time in late 2014. She has starred in such films as The Santa Clause 2 & 3 and Gia.

Biography

In an interview with Aventura magazine, Mitchell claimed she was just "a dorky kid" when she left Los Angeles for Dallas:


"I would finish school in Dallas where my mom was going to law school, and she would make sure I got right over to the Theater Center," says Mitchell. "It was magic. I loved every second of being there and wanted to sleep on stage. I knew then I wanted to be an actress."

Mitchell married actor Chris Soldevilla in 2004, with whom she has a son named C.J., who was born in 2005. In 2013 Mitchell and Soldevilla divorced due to irreconcilable differences.

She shares the same birth name as actress Elizabeth Banks, who changed her name to avoid confusion with Elizabeth Mitchell.
