Rob Everett (born November 30, 1945), better known by his stage name Eric Edwards is an American former pornographic film actor. Having performed in four decades (1960s-'90s), Edwards was perhaps the most recognizable face in the pornographic film industry in the 1970s and '80s. After studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he began performing in silent, black-and-white loops in 1969. He worked with Linda Lovelace in the notorious 1971 film, Dog Fucker, then went on to appear in x-rated touchstone films of the 1970s such as Teenage Twins and Debbie Does Dallas. In the 1980s and '90s he won several industry acting awards, before retiring to a career in editing. He is a member of both the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame, is a Legend of Erotica, and has his name on the Hustler Walk of Fame. At Fairmount High School, Ohio, a group of rude and obnoxious seniors begins their school with an assembly featuring a band called "High on Life" though the student body shows lack of response due to the choice of music playing in front of them. As the band continues to play onstage, Mark "Dags" D'Agastino (Jeremy Renner) and Reggie Barry (Rob Moore) decide to sabotage the assembly by having a track played and exposing the band lip syncing their music as it ends drastically but upbeat. After a typing class, the seniors cut school and throw a party at the home of Principal Moss (Matt Frewer). Moss eventually gets informed about the party from the school body president Steve Nisser (Sergio Di Zio). When he returns home, he gives the group detention, forcing them to write a letter to the President of the United States, explaining what is wrong with the education system.

Danny Aiello stars as Harry Stone, an NYC film director who has been living in Paris, France for the past ten years. Ben Healy and his son, Junior, move from Cold River to Mortville, Oregon, a quiet, peaceful community, apparently as a way to start their lives all over again. The film is set during the summer between high school graduation and college. The film begins with a couple Frank (Ted Hayden) and Mary Sylvester (Connie Hunter) cooking food over a campfire while being watched by a mysterious figure in the shadows (played by Carel Struycken, but not seen until the end of the film). While Mary is taking a walk in the woods, she hears her husband scream and returns to the campsite to find her husband's decapitated corpse. She is then killed by the killer wielding her husband's axe. Several weeks later, three teenaged couples are hiking in the same remote forest high in the Colorado Rockies to enjoy the nature and to spend some time together. As they progress deeper into the wilderness, it becomes clear that the killer from the beginning of the film is stalking them. During their first night in the woods, Gail (Gayle Gannes) hears a noise and sends her boyfriend Greg (Philip Wenckus) to check out the disturbance. While isolated, they are both murdered by the killer.
