Floyd Delafield Crosby, A.S.C. (December 12, 1899 – September 30, 1985) was an Academy award-winning American cinematographer.
In 1940, he married Aliph Van Cortland Whitehead and had two children: David Crosby of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and the late, reclusive singer-songwriter Ethan Crosby (1937-1997).
During his career, Floyd Crosby was involved in the cinematography of more than 100 full-length movies. He won the 1931 Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work on the film Tabu. He was also the cinematographer for High Noon (1952), considered to be among his best work. Crosby also worked with B-movie director Roger Corman on several films.
Crosby served as a cinematographer for the U.S. Army Air Corps film wing, and made flight training films in World War II. He left the Air Corps in 1946.
Crosby divorced in 1960, and married Betty Cormack Andrews in the same year. He retired in the 1972 to Ojai, California, where he died in 1985.

Crosby was born and raised in West Philadelphia, the son of Julia Floyd (née Delafield) and Frederick Van Schoonhoven Crosby.In 1940, he married Aliph Van Cortland Whitehead and had two children: David Crosby of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and the late, reclusive singer-songwriter Ethan Crosby (1937-1997).

A singer, Sugar Kane (Linda Evans), is unwittingly being used for publicity stunts for her latest album by her agent (Paul Lynde), for example, faking a skydiving stunt, actually performed by Bonnie (Deborah Walley). Meanwhile, Frankie (Frankie Avalon), (duped into thinking he rescued Sugar Kane), takes up skydiving at Bonnie's prompting; she secretly wants to make her boyfriend Steve (John Ashley) jealous. This, of course, prompts Dee Dee (Annette Funicello) to also try free-falling. Eric Von Zipper (Harvey Lembeck) and his Malibu Rat Pack bikers also show up, with Von Zipper falling madly in love with Sugar Kane. To top all this, Bonehead (Jody McCrea) falls in love with a mermaid (Marta Kristen). Eventually, Von Zipper "puts the snatch" on Sugar Kane. The film takes a The Perils of Pauline-like twist, with the evil South Dakota Slim (Timothy Carey) kidnapping Sugar and tying her to a buzz-saw.

Set during the 15th century, the sorcerer Dr. Erasmus Craven (Vincent Price) has been mourning the death of his wife Lenore (Hazel Court) for over two years, much to the chagrin of his daughter Estelle (Olive Sturgess). One night he is visited by a raven, who happens to be a transformed wizard, Dr. Bedlo (Peter Lorre). Together they brew a potion that restores Bedlo to his old self. Bedlo explains he had been transformed by the evil Dr. Scarabus (Boris Karloff) in an unfair duel, and both decide to see Scarabus, Bedlo to exact revenge and Craven to look for his wife's ghost, which Bedlo reportedly saw at Scarabus' castle. After fighting off the attack of Craven's coachman, who apparently acted under the influence of Scarabus, they set out to the castle, joined by Craven's daughter Estelle and Bedlo's son Rexford (Jack Nicholson).

Michael Conrad is a private zookeeper who owns Conrad's Animal Kingdom.
