Gianni Ferrio (15 November 1924 – 21 October 2013) was an Italian composer, conductor and music arranger.
Born in Vicenza, Ferrio studied at conservatories of Vicenza and Venice. He started working at the end of the fifties, and was pretty active as a composer of film scores, signing about 120 sound-tracks especially for spaghetti westerns and commedie sexy all'italiana. His piece "One Silver Dollar", the main theme of the sound-track of Giorgio Ferroni's Un dollaro bucato, was later included in the sound-track of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
He was also well known for his work in pop music, particularly for his collaboration with Mina, for whom he composed, among others, the hit song "Parole parole", and wrote arrangements and orchestrations for numerous of her songs and albums. The last collaboration with Mina was for her 2012 album 12 (American Song Book), for which Ferrio traditionally provided the string arrangements.
He was the official conductor for Sanremo Music Festival in 1959 and 1962 and for the Eurovision Song Contest 1965. He also took part, as conductor, in several important Italian TV-shows.
Ferrio was married to actress Alba Arnova.

Piero (Johnny Dorelli), chirurgien dentiste, séparé de sa femme Roberta (Laura Antonelli), décide d'acheter un bateau appelé Biba, pour passer deux semaines de vacances avec ses deux enfants Claudio et Fiorella en effectuant la traversée depuis Civitavecchia jusqu’en Sardaigne. Pour la tenir à l'écart des distractions juvéniles de la ville, la belle Angela Mancinelli est envoyée par son père dans une petite ville des Pouilles chez son oncle, directeur de lycée et victime du goliardia de ses élèves. Bientôt, la fille conquiert le cœur de la gérante, de ses compagnes et de sa cousine, qui joue secrètement dans un complexe et est aimée par la plantureuse Irma. Angela vise haut, entrant dans les grâces d'un jeune professeur grincheux. Étant donné le bénéfice limité, les garçons aimeraient profiter des situations à leur avantage, de l'intrusion d'Irma dans la maison du directeur - la scène de la chambre avec l'aide du merle bavard est mémorable - pour faire chanter le professeur via Angela, mais les plans échouent lamentablement avec le rejet général. La protagoniste, qui aurait le même sort, adoucit le maigre avec l'annonce de sa prochaine maternité.

Nicola est dentiste, obsédé sexuel, il multiplie les conquêtes et les maîtresses et au moment où se déroule le film il trompe sa femme avec la plantureuse Zaira. Nicola a pour assistant Peppino qui lui sert de souffre-douleur. Alfredo, un escroc a appris de la bouche de l'oncle Saverio, mourant, que celui-ci a légué toute sa fortune à son neveu Nicola. Elle consiste en un énorme diamant dissimulé dans la verroterie d'un plafonnier. Cachant la mort de l'oncle, Alfredo se fait passer pour lui et se fait héberger chez ses neveux exprimant le désir de terminer sa vie chez eux. Le couple accepte d'autant plus volontiers qu'il convoite l'héritage. Alfredo joue le « mourant » et se lève la nuit pour tenter de trouver le diamant dans le plafonnier. Refusant les services d'une vieille religieuse, Alfredo exige une infirmière de nuit jeune et bien faite, le choix de Nicola se porte alors sur Angela, la nièce d'une de ses patientes. Celle-ci attire la convoitise des hommes mais repoussant les avances de Nicola elle est attirée par Carlo le fils de maison lui-même courtisé par la voisine nymphomane du dessous. Suite à plusieurs péripéties Alfredo est démasqué avant que celui-ci ait pu dénicher le diamant, Nicola redécouvre les charmes de sa femme, Zaira lassée des infidélités de son amant se console avec Peppino tandis qu'Angela et Carlo filent le parfait amour.
