Formé au Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Giovanni Fago a travaillé comme assistant avec de nombreux réalisateurs, notamment Mario Monicelli, Vittorio De Sica, Roberto Rossellini, Gillo Pontecorvo, Lucio Fulci, avant de passer lui-même à la réalisation en 1967.Best films

Sen. Gianni Puppis (Lando Buzzanca) arrives at Rome's airport to greet the female president of the Republic of Urania. Puppis, a hot contender for the next Italian Chief of State, is captured on unedited and unaired news-film furtively groping the bottom of the esteemed lady visitor as she greets the Italian press. No one notices the incident, and the victim is unsure who was responsible due to the crowd gathered around her. The TV film editor (Janos Bartha) studies the film with a colleague and remarks, "but he's queer!" Still photos of the incident fall into the hands of a highly unorthodox priest called Father Lucian (Renzo Palmer), an old college friend of Puppis. He arranges a meeting with the bemused politician in a confessional booth and then demands blackmail money for the pictures. Puppis is furious, but mystified, for he cannot remember anything about the incident. He leave the confessional booth refusing to pay. That night, Puppis has a strange dream which a naked young woman (Eva Czamerys) beckons him, superimposed over the circular plaza of St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican.

Bounty hunter John delivers four wanted criminals, all of them dead. When he checks out the new posters at the sheriff's office he recognises his half-brother Clint on one of them. John could never forget how Clint out of jealousy killed their mutual father and how he blamed the misdeed on John who instead of his brother spent 10 years in prison. Now Clint is good for 6000 dollars. John has no reservations to go after him because it was Clint who rendered John an outcast with no other chance left to make a living other than by becoming a bounty hunter. Dans les dernières années du régime de Salazar, Antonio Murillo est pilote militaire dans l'Angola en lutte contre le colonisateur portugais. A Montréal, Floyd et Joe, deux malfrats venus des Etats-Unis, commettent ensemble un hold-up dans une bijouterie. Après le cambriolage, ils ne parviennent qu'à échapper difficilement à la police. Décidant de se séparer pour compliquer la traque, Floyd et Joe se donnent rendez-vous près de la frontière, aux Etats-Unis. C'est Floyd, ancien cascadeur, qui conserve le butin et part en voiture. En route, il est victime d'un accident sans gravité mais qui le contraint à passer quelque temps dans un motel en attendant que le véhicule soit réparé. Il est accueilli avec beaucoup d'égards par les gérants, Fred et Michele Nolton. Rapidement sous le charme, la patronne a toutefois des soupçons sur l'identité réelle de Floyd, notamment depuis que la police patrouille dans le secteur.
