Pietro Pontechievello is a gay man who rents a large house in the historic center of Rome. In the abode Pietro quickly learns of strange and mysterious presences. Tom Ripley is a young man struggling to make a living in 1950s New York City using his "talents"—forgery, lying and impersonation.
