Subramanyam(Sai Dharam Tej) is a money-minded youth who goes to the US to earn big bucks. One fine day, he comes across Seetha(Regina) who ditches her family for her long time boyfriend. Nagabhushanam (Mukesh Rishi) escapes a murder attempt from two assassins (Ajay & Bharani) at Coorg who later threaten him to kill soon. The story shifts to Hyderabad where Nandu (N. T. Rama Rao Jr.), a lonely college student lives. He spends his time with his friends and happens to fall in love in first sight with a girl named Akarsha (Samantha) who stays with her grandmother Baby Shalini (Rohini Hattangadi). With his wits and tactics he tries to make Akarsha fall in love with him and succeeds after a brief time. Nandu accompanies Akarsha to her sister's marriage in her hometown and by then, Nandu is treated as a family friend by Akarsha's family.
