Henry F. Chan is an American television director.

At the beginning of his career, Chan won a Primetime Emmy Award for editing The Cosby Show in 1986, He was also nominated again the following year. He made his directorial debut, directing The Cosby Show spin-off A Different World. He has since directed episodes of Living Single, Sister, Sister, Moesha, The Parkers, Girlfriends, The King of Queens, Scrubs, Lizzie McGuire and a few other series.

In 2001, Chan directed his first film Gas starring Flex Alexander and Khalil Kain.

Growing up, friends Mitch Weaver (Norm Macdonald) and Sam McKenna (Artie Lange) are taught by Sam's hard-nosed dad, "Pops" McKenna (Jack Warden), not to "take crap from anyone".
