A Saiyan space pod flying through space crash-lands on Earth out of which a wounded Broly crawls out, who barely escaped from the "new" planet Vegeta just moments before it was destroyed. The Legendary Super Saiyan reverts to his normal state, then falls into a coma as the crater freezes over him. Seven years later, Goku is deceased having sacrificed his life to save the Earth from Cell. Goten, Trunks, and Videl search for the magical Dragon Balls and encounter the cursed village, Nataday. With the villagers haunted by a supposed monster, they are prompted by their priest to conduct human sacrifice to appease the threat. Goten, Trunks, and Videl devise a plan to bait the supposed monster. However, when Goten inadvertently obstructs the plan, Videl slaps him and he soon begins to cry. The supposed monster, a dinosaur, is drawn out but is quickly vanquished by Goten and Trunks. With the priest exiled and Nataday peaceful, the group depart to continue their Dragon Ball search.

In 1958 Japan, university professor Tatsuo Kusakabe and his two daughters, Satsuki and Mei, move into an old house to be closer to the hospital where their mother Yasuko is recovering from a long-term illness. Satsuki and Mei find that the house is inhabited by tiny animated dust creatures called susuwatari – small, dark, dust-like house spirits seen when moving from light to dark places. When the girls become comfortable in their new house and laugh with their father, the soot spirits leave the house to drift away on the wind. It is implied that they are going to find another empty house – their natural habitat.

A pair of truck drivers, the experienced Gorō (Tsutomu Yamazaki) and a younger sidekick named Gun (Ken Watanabe), stop at a decrepit roadside ramen (noodle) shop. Outside, Gorō rescues a boy who is being beaten up by three schoolmates. The boy, Tabo, turns out to be the son of the widowed owner of the struggling business, Tampopo (Nobuko Miyamoto). When a customer called Pisken (Rikiya Yasuoka) harasses Tampopo, Gorō invites him and his men to step outside. Gorō puts up a good fight, but outnumbered by Pisken and his men, he is knocked out and wakes up the next morning in Tampopo's home.

Tokyo, 1982. Dans une entreprise, un patron phallocrate, Goro, recrute sa maîtresse, mademoiselle Kuwano, pour qu'elle devienne sa directrice adjointe. Il ne s'agit qu'un prétexte pour la voir facilement mais il veut la transformer en call-girl pour faciliter la signature de gros contrats avec des Américains. Pour faire ses preuves et l'occasion de la signature d'un contrat avec un entrepreneur étranger, elle engage même une lycéenne vierge en guise de cadeau de bienvenue. Mais elle s'aperçoit vite que son boss l'utilise et qu'il la trompe avec sa secrétaire. Dévastée, elle rencontre son épouse, qui n'est d'autre que la fille de l'actionnaire principal de l'entreprise, et la secrétaire, également cocufiée, pour fomenter une vengeance contre le coureur de jupons. Le trio de femmes humiliées le séquestrent et l'obligent à coucher avec elles jusqu'à l'épuisement et la mort... Mais ce n'était qu'une menace. Elles préfèrent le rendre impuissant pour trois ans grâce à un puissant calmant fourni par un étrange patron de sex-shop. Muté en Alaska, l'homme d'affaires est aussitôt rejoint par les trois femmes, encore amoureuses de lui malgré son infidélité.

Jim, the young assistant of the keeper of the Admiral Bembo inn, and his mouse friend Gran (Rex in English) are one night asked by a rough, one-legged stranger for a room and to watch out for suspicious-looking characters. The latter, a band of black-cloaked assassins, soon arrive, and the man asks Jim to take care of the casket he's been carrying before engaging the intruders. Jim and Gran narrowly escape. Generals Miki and Washizu are Samurai commanders under a local lord, Lord Tsuzuki, who reigns in the castle of the Spider's Web Forest. After defeating the lord's enemies in battle, they return to Tsuzuki's castle. On their way through the thick forest surrounding the castle, they meet a spirit, who foretells their future. The spirit tells them that today Washizu will be named Lord of the Northern Garrison and Miki will now be commander of the first fortress. She then foretells that Washizu will eventually become Lord of Spiderweb Castle, and finally she tells Miki that his son will also become lord of the castle.
