Jack Duffy (September 4, 1882 – July 23, 1939) was an American film actor. He appeared in 85 films between 1916 and 1937, usually looking older than his age. He acted in a series of silent shorts for the Christie Film Company, a pioneering movie studio that specialized in producing situational comedies.

Duffy was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and died in Hollywood, California. His sister was actress Kate Price.

Dr. Jeff Weitzman (Dennis Boutsikaris) is a psychologist working in a sanitarium in New Jersey. His primary patients are Billy, Henry, Jack and Albert. Billy (Keaton) is the most normal of the group and their unofficial leader, though he is a pathological liar with delusions of grandeur and violent tendencies. Henry (Lloyd) is obsessive/compulsive and he has deluded himself into thinking he is one of the doctors at the hospital, often walking around with a clipboard, lab coat and stethoscope. Jack (Boyle) is a former advertising executive who believes he is Jesus Christ. Finally, Albert (Furst) is a man-child who only says things he hears during baseball games, particularly from former ball player and commentator Phil Rizzuto.

The onset of the Great Depression has forced the Stooges to look for jobs.Taking a merchant's brooms to sweep his sidewalk,they are mistaken as thieves by him, and soon find themselves on the run from the police. With a cop chasing them, they flee into an art school where they are mistaken for students. They take their first art lessons while hiding from the police, resulting in a climactic clay fight that takes no prisoners (the persistent cop is among the numerous people who got hit).
