Jaime Camino (born 11 June 1936) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He directed 16 films between 1962 and 2001. His 1976 film Long Vacations of 36 was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1992 film The Long Winter was entered into the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival.

It is the year 1981, the famous writer Antonio Albajara (Antonio Ferrandis) arrives at Gijón, his hometown, from Stockholm, where he has just received the Nobel Prize in Literature.
