James Marquand
James (Jim) Marquand, né le 21 septembre 1964, est un réalisateur britannique d'origine galloise. Enfant, il passa beaucoup de son temps sur les plateaux de tournage où travaillait son père Richard Marquand (Jagged Edge, Star Wars, épisode VI : Le Retour du Jedi). Son premier court métrage, La Leçon (1998), a été nommé pour le Prix Kodak BAFTA. Il a écrit, réalisé et produit son premier film, Dead Man's Cards.

L'ancien boxeur Tom est sur les cordes, quand une rencontre fortuite au gymnase mène à l'offre de travail comme portier dans une boîte de nuit délabrée.
